  • I had an air leak on the passenger side of my Prevost and had to get it fixed in a parking lot by Christian from American Bus Specialist's in Irving Texas. Not all hero's wear capes!

    Very honest technician, God bless people like him.
    Any other crook could prick an air bag and called it very serious problem and you need to tow bus to a repair shop and replace air bags on both sides.
    I drove all my life a limousine and it was few times leveling switch snapped off it's position.
    I easily repaired this myself on my home driveway

    Prevost actually recommended carry a set of spare air bags in the bay for each axle - just in case this ever happens - since they may be difficult to obtain on the road. I am doing that now while mine is in service. Also, carry spare belts and hoses.

      Great advice for sure. Extra of everything you can carry is the best advice. Safe travels.

    Do you all do any BLM boondocking? I was wondering cuz I was curious if the 50K+ weight of a conversion bus was so limiting the places you can go that it's not worth ger set up for it? Do you know of any other Prevost/Newell youtube channels that boondock?

    • @imike0367
      @imike0367 7 месяцев назад

      We find it to be more of an issue of height of the rig than the weight, per se. At 13'4" high, it is limiting. However, well worth it.

    I'm curious why you got such a huge RV, when you could have got away with a cheaper and more efficient Class C. Unless you're travelling with a large crew...

      Because those are plastic leaky machines. This is now my full time home and I wanted the best which to me is the Prevost. Mine is set up for a home not a crew. Thanks for watching appreciate it.

      Hey, if it's your home, it has to be a Prevost, the real deal. Just look at those lovely side panels. Yes.
