I once saw a custom '67 F100 of this body style in a custom car shop and it was a nifty looking rig. These 60's F-Series Fords make perfect custom hot rods!
I learned to drive in one of these trucks. My grandpa bought it new off the lot and he would brag about the air conditioner when we drove around the farm. My older brother bought it from gramma in 1989 when grandpa passed away.I bought it from my brother when i turned 16 in 1994. It was green over white, 3 speed on the column (with an overdrive switch) and had a 360 under the hood. I might be a bit sentimental since this truck belonged to my grandfather and was my first. Very fun to drive!
the1967-1972 Ford f100 was assembled in Cuautitlan, Mexico Dearborn, Michigan, USA Edison, New Jersey, USA Kansas City, Missouri, USA Long Beach, California, USA Norfolk, Virginia, USA St. Paul, Minnesota, USA St. Louis, Missouri, USA General Pacheco, Argentina São Paulo, Brazil Hapeville, Georgia, USA Louisville, Kentucky, USA San Jose, California, USA Wayne, Michigan, USA Oakville, Ontario, Canada Broadmeadows, Australia
We had a 73 when we were hauling tractors to tractor shows, course, it was a junkyard truck, it had a straight 6 and a car automatic, it would shift before you even left the driveway! It had a flat bed on it with a semi tank, the fuel gauge was broken, so my dad had to measure the gas, and the gas mileage and calculate what city we had to stop and get gas at!!
i forgot this "ive seen these at the junkyard and it brings me tears to see this one in that condition compared to the ones ive seen at pick a part yards
@390merc65 and just because a engine "replaces" another engine doesn't mean that the replacement engine can't be out while the " planed to be discontinued " engine is out. Like the old 7.3 diesel, it was replaced by the 6.0 because of regulations with emissions, and what not, but the 6.0 was out a whole year before the 7.3 was offically stoped, it was some 2003's with the 7.3 still, and some with the new 6.0
@barnie7219 yea, but didn't last that long, a little trick to tell if the engine was below 397 cubic inches is to see where the spark plugs are located, if they are beneath the valve covers, it is below 397 ci, if they are above, it is below 397 ci
yeah even my 88 had some rust spots, i ordered patch panels and my body man has the truck right now fixing them actually...i had to sand down the frame and paint it too so it wouldnt get too bad, its seen alot of mud and snow in its day
That's a beautiful classic truck, a piece of history, I love it alot, I was born in Brazil and am an Australian now cs lI live here in Aussie since the 90's, and in Brazil my uncle had one of theses trucks and we love it heaps and it lasted for decades cs it is very strong reliable vehicle, and also in Australia we love the F-trucks and even in MadMax there was used about 4 of then in the movie, when heard uncle he sold it I was very sad cs it meant alot to me, I also love Americans as people
Americans are the best car makers as far as I am concerned, who cares about whatever other country makes, everybody who got money, or have a dream, or work relly hard always have an classic american car as a dream, and so am I, Americans made and make great things, I always loved the way Americans work hard to achieve perfection and I got that from the US, am American in my heart and I love American cars and every American I met here in Australia was nice and polite and had a spark in they eyes.
Is that thing next to the driver's door a lockable gas cap? Overall, nice truck! I'd like to own one of these myself! But my parents wouldn't let me drive an older car because it doesn't have air bags. :(
@390merc65 and yes i do know what fe means, FE means " 'Ford-Edsel' " and it was out between 1958, and 1976. The FE engine replaced the lincoln Y Block engine. It was seriously needed for medium duty applications. And the FT engine mean " Ford Trucks", and was used in the trucks, and school buses............ a MEL engine is "mercury edsel Lincoln", and it also replaced the lincoln Y block engine....>>>>>>anything else you want to know?????????
My first vehicle was an 87 f150, was rusted out and not worth anything. Now 6 vehicles later I'm driving a 00 mustang GT and a 78 F250 supercab. If I had known when I was first looking I'd have taken the 78 over anything else since it's super easy to work on and everything is cheap for it. It would be a great first vehicle. He doesn't have to go and buy a totally restored one either.
@390merc65 i was noting how to identify if the engine was a below 397 cubic inches, like a 337, or 351. The engines during that era has a distinct spark plug location, therefor if they were below the valve covers, it was a 351, or a 337, or something below a 397. I know my stuff man, i have been a ford assemblymen for 15 years, i build the new 6.7s, i wouldn't say anything if it wasn't true.........
This is an absolutely beautiful truck! The only scary thing for me is where the gas tank is located (right behind the seats....God forbid you got t-boned). But, this is one beautiful truck. Kyle...do you know how much they're asking?
they are easy to find but most likely itll need alot of work...which i can tell you first hand is pretty easy in those old trucks, and i havent had much problems finding parts either...but i would hurry up and get one while they are still around if i were you!
wont be able to for a few years but as soon as i can and i mean that i plan to make the trip almost across the country where its common to see old trucks a lot so finding one shouldn't be too hard.down here the winter/using salt on roads is really hard on them its a lot rarer to see older trucks.and the fact alot of people dont care is hurtful cause once they're let give out and get thrown away they're gone.and i dont need that generation,i like them but i like others, wouldn't mind 1 of them..
Now the truck is beautiful and I love the Flaresides F100s, especialy the ones from late sixties througout the late seventies, I wish I could buy this one here, cos it is very original like I want it to be, does any one knows, if I can fit an 79 XLT F100 power steering tilt column in these F100 from 67 trough 72? I like the steering wheel shape wooden finish of the 78/84 F100s. We got this place here in Australia called the F100 parts/wreckers. Good lucky everyone.
oh beleive me, that things my baby, ive done everything but rebuild the engine (which doesnt need it with only 107k original miles) i couldnt let it go even after i bought my 2010 f150...i mean the new one is a good reliable work truck with good mpg but...it feels so cheap and plastic...its just not the same....best of luck to you on finding one, they really are fun to drive
Josh Brinson Thanks! I thought it was. I should've made a Bet with my friend, who is a Big Ford Fan. i bet you that truck will bring a pretty penny when sold. i wish i had the money, i would buy it.
this is the coolist looking ford truck i have ever seen. look great for a old truck
Nice truck. I have a 67 flare side with a 300 six and 3 on the floor. Runs great. Started with the one barrel carb and now adapted a 2 barrel.

Nice classic truck and in good condition.

God above that’s one sweet truck...😍
beauty truck thanks for showing

Wow cool a classic that still has the stock radio!
Maybe not stock, but there are reproductions that look just like original
Now that's a fully restored truck.
oh yeah classic fords are way better than 80s to nowadays
Timbucktoo Rock agreed
Indeed!
That had to have been some restoration. I love everything about that truck
Just started working on mine. Its a pale blue looks really good. Has a 302 v8 in it right now, not for long. Puttin white walls on mine though
wow its in beautiful condition, nice tour as usual.
Very nice truck.
I love this old trucks.
And it has a nice sound too.
ITS ON SALE? I WANT ONE,,
That clock is the coolest thing I've ever seen.

@390merc65 and it is not the 360 because they didn't come in the 69s, they were in the process of claiming a successor during that time
@79pretzel It's an FE V8, likely a 360, could be a 390.
Mines got a 360 FE
How much for this truck?
Nice truck with the Flareside box!
That is one simple engine to work on that's for sure. . .
@390merc65 the FE engine was already out when the Y block was disconitued, but it was still considered a replacement...........or alternative
@kendrickevans301 it was already out, it just filled the space for a medium duty engine after the Y block. The Windsor engines replaced the FE engine
yeah even my 88 had some rust spots, i ordered patch panels and my body man has the truck right now fixing them actually...i had to sand down the frame and paint it too so it wouldnt get too bad, its seen alot of mud and snow in its day
So was the F150 series the F100's successor?
Yea they renamed it the F150 in 1985
That's a beautiful classic truck, a piece of history, I love it alot, I was born in Brazil and am an Australian now cs lI live here in Aussie since the 90's, and in Brazil my uncle had one of theses trucks and we love it heaps and it lasted for decades cs it is very strong reliable vehicle, and also in Australia we love the F-trucks and even in MadMax there was used about 4 of then in the movie, when heard uncle he sold it I was very sad cs it meant alot to me, I also love Americans as people
Exactly what I want...regular cab flareside f100, with a hot 302. Heaven.
I had a 1970 model just like it. Was my first truck. Originally came with a 300 six cylinder. Later put a high performance 390. 3 speed on the tree.
That's a real truck love it
beautifull restored truck !!
@kendrickevans301 there was also a 360 V8 available but they had reliability issues
I had forgotten that the ignition lock cylinder in the 'pre 73' Fords was on the left side of the steering column.
philldholes buddy has a 60 Falcon with the same on the left ignition

I have one that I’d like to restore. Any tips?
@seapeddler that year the vavle seals where mainly the culprit
OMG I want this pickup. I love it when you do older vehicles. I like all of your videos though
another great video kyle x)
Is it mostly original? Cool ride man!
What a beauty!
it's missing the heat transfer tube
Is that thing next to the driver's door a lockable gas cap? Overall, nice truck! I'd like to own one of these myself! But my parents wouldn't let me drive an older car because it doesn't have air bags. :(

Why is the truck by itself on the grass? It is one rare, clean, and awesome truck.
@jammer96 the 302 didn't come in the 69 f100, only a 300 straight 6, and a 351 modified, or clevland
They ran the 302 in mid year models, also don’t forget the FE engines, the 360 and 390
Gotta love the smell of burning oil in the morning :D
Excellent tour!
can you do the Chevy malibu
@390merc65 i was noting how to identify if the engine was a below 397 cubic inches, like a 337, or 351. This is an absolutely beautiful truck! The only scary thing for me is where the gas tank is located (right behind the seats....God forbid you got t-boned). But, this is one beautiful truck. Kyle...do you know how much they're asking?

i wonder if these trucks were very popular back when they came out!!
they are easy to find but most likely itll need alot of work...which i can tell you first hand is pretty easy in those old trucks, and i havent had much problems finding parts either...but i would hurry up and get one while they are still around if i were you!
@saabkyle04 wow what an awesome lookin truck' nice lookin motor! sounds great too!! love the exhaust' thanks for posting kyle!

I think you left the headlights on Kyle...
nice truck; I prefer Chevys, but must admit, that Ford has been well cared for or nicely restored and kept mostly original; is that a 302 V8?
Dream truck 😅😍
I like how he shot the video with the Sun directly into the Camera.
NIce alignment on the panels as well Douche
Before you hate, you should learn how to use punctuation and capitals.
Dude, this isn't even his truck. So don't go hating on him for a restoration he didn't even do. Also, learn how to grammar.
@stlchevy95 haha there was a lot of restoration. They did a good job though
Nice truck! Looks like a 302 V8 under the hood.

What's that song at 1:16?
Do you know what engine is in that? you never mentioned. appears to be a 351.
Robert Cikovic 351C 2-V Cleveland.
Josh Brinson Thanks! I thought it was. I should've made a Bet with my friend, who is a Big Ford Fan. i bet you that truck will bring a pretty penny when sold. i wish i had the money, i would buy it.
