He is a below average and low volume midrange shooter with no pull up game and a limited post game. He is also a below average free throw shooter which is typically a good indicator of questionable shooting mechanics. Anyone who actually watches his dodgy 2 motion shooting form can see he is a streaky outside shooter. Furthermore the defence, and let's be real, this is the worst defensive era since the 60s so what I am about to say is really saying something, doesn't respect his outside shooting and therefore he gets way more uncontested looks from 3. You are what they call a fanboy. LeBron has been exposed in the finals and in international play for his bad outside shooting and confidence which often fluctuates depending on his rhythm. Bron Stans think the Lakers are wasting Lebrons last couple prime years but real Laker fans know that Lebron is probably done winning championships at this point. We have to start planning for Life after Lebron. AD is clearly the best player on the team already. Our #1 priority should be on making AD happy and building around him for the future.
Lmfao……..kid, you must be too young to remember PRIME AD in New Orleans. Pelicans building around AD brought 1 playoff appearance in over 8 years. It’s the ENTIRE REASON AD left. He couldn’t carry the team by himself. To think you’d build around him after prime years is insane.

It was reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne that the Golden State Warriors contacted the Los Angeles Lakers about a potential LeBron James trade prior to the deadline, but James and the Lakers were not interested in such a deal.
The Lakers WCF run last year was a fluke. They could have been easily eliminated in the play in by Minnesota and a Lonnie Walker miracle 4th quarter saved them in the Warriors series. They are not a contender, Anthony Davis has regressed every year since winning the title and Lebron is more active on social media than on defense. They need to let Lebron walk this summer and pivot fast away from the Klutch brigade before they turn into Cleveland post 2010
To call it a fluke is such a lazy take. They took out 2 teams everyone in the NBA was lauding as top 3 in the west in GSW and MEM. To say them making it to the WCF and then getting swept by the eventual champs some how makes it a fluke is just wild. And to say AD has regressed when he's having his best season since the title season is just plain hating.
Suns finals appearance was a fluke. So was miamis last year. You can say that about damn almost every team. It’s called a sport and crazy shit happens you can’t call it a fluke
And what neither mentioned is that whichever team has LeBron on the roster going forward is going to both A)spend a first round pick on his son and B) showcase the father and son duo.
How's LeBron gonna react ? I'll give you the answer : He's gonna cry , blame everyone expect himself for the poor results. The main reason why LeBron never should be concidered the GOAT is the inability to be a team leader and take responsibility. He's been surrounded all his life by "yes men" afraid to lose his talent and afraid to make him accountable.
Reaves is a very good role player. A very efficient scorer, decent distributor of the ball. But he's a TERRIBLE defender, not for the lack of trying, but he doesn't have the athleticism to stay in front of guards, nor the strength to prevent them from pushing him around. He's given a lot of credit by the media because of many reasons. One, he is an undrafted talent. He worked from the bottom to play for the Lakers. That's an inspiring story. Two, he's a model citizen. His work ethics are top notch, and you don't hear a beep about any on-off court issues. Third, he's white (minority in the NBA). People love underdogs, and he checks every single category - undrafted, minority, good character. They did the exact same thing with Jeremy Lin. People gloss over the period of Linsanity, but during those 26 games, he averaged 18.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists, on 45/32/79 shooting splits. His average gamescore (a stat that evaluates the player's productivity) was 14.1, which is a role player's number, but people were making it seem like he's the Asian Jesus.
Lakers screwed themselves previous years with a lot of bad trades. They don't have assets or picks to trade. LeBron should take a small contract moving forward so they can get better players. He's too old to bring it a whole game night after night. Make it a 5 year $20MM per year or whatever they can do to make it smaller. He's at $479,466,457 career earnings. He's worth way over $1 billion, he should help the team get better players. Crossing HALF A BILLION $$$ in earnings is ENOUGH! LOL
I think when Cleveland wouldn't give up JJ Hickson for the potential Amar'e Stoudemire deal back in 2009 2010 it scared him for life. So I don't blame him necessarily for leaving Cleveland that time but if he would have stayed with Miami for the rest of his career he probably have more rings and a *lot* more respect. He'll always have the LBJTQ Community though.
@IM-st2yo I feel you man. I was rooting for LeBron up to that point and when he made that move I remember thinking "Dude.. does it matter if you guys win 7 titles. Just means that Dwyane Wade will have 8 to your 7. Weak shit." At that point I didn't realize how weak dude was. Dude reminds me of one of those childhood actors that grows up to be a super weirdo. I don’t understand why the Lakers won’t consider trading Lebron, why are they letting a 39 year old dictate their roster moves. Go get a young guard to play alongside AD and just build around them
The Lakers were not prepared to ruin the next 5 years of their team so LeBron can have another shot at it for one year. He's too old and he is a huge liability on defense. He's just not worth the trouble anymore
I cant wait for Lebron to leave or retire so I can root for my team again, watching him destroy my Lakers has been one of the most depressing things I have ever had to watch in sports
a 2027 pick gets you a player like Vando or maybe not even. So if you ask me it was worth the trade. Also, let’s see if the lakers can turn Russel into something positive down the line. If they could have kept Beasleys expiring contract maybe that could have helped with this years trade deadline but I don’t think they could have signed gabe and prince over the summer. Let’s see what happens
This squad made a good run to the WCF last year let the team build chemistry my goodness I watched the nuggets/laker game last night and my thought wasn’t “oh my goodness the lakers need to make a move” every year Lebron teams have to turn the roster upside down I don’t get it

What should they have done? There wasn’t any moves available to put them over the top. I do like the dinwiddie buyout signing. That’s better than overpaying for a slightly better Murray.
How about my hometown Chicago Bulls doing nothing YET again? I supported the Bulls this whole time through everything. I've been watching the absolute bottom of the league come through our city every year, I've been watching mostly misses in the draft, I've been watching our front office be one of the worst front offices in the league, and I've been watching simple, basic fundamental team building going over the heads of these absolute morons. The whole Lonzo Ball thing... totally not anyone's fault, but hey Eversley did you notice we lost our starting point guard for like, three years now and you've done NOTHING to replace him? For one hot minute, we got Pat Bev on a last minute buyout but we only had him until the end of the season and there's absolutely no way he was going to stick around in this shitshow. I can already hear you saying, "Coby White!" Sure but remember, he was out at the beginning of the year. Someone who looks up the roster could say, "Jevon Carter" and yes, Jevon is here on his last stop on his way out of the league. And you could point at Caruso and Dosunmu, but neither are particular good at running the point... just watch it and see. But most importantly, why are we short handed and making these guys play out of position for THREE FUCKING YEARS? There isn't a point guard drought going on, there's lots of them out there. And then what about last season, when we started with Patrick Williams injured and literally did not have another power forward on the roster. NOT ONE. We had guys playing out of position the entire time until Williams came back. And let me point out one other interesting tidbit: ONLY TWO PLAYERS ON THIS ROSTER ARE TALLER THAN 6'9". What is this, 1950? OH! And who are those two players? Vucevic and Drummond, the two oldest, slowest and least athletic players on the team. They're also quite possible the slowest and least athletic players in the NBA right now, but that might be taking it a bit too far. Oh yeah, I can't forget... that 6'9" guy? A scrub who has played 3 games and is averaging 2 and 2. At the beginning of this season, knowing that we weren't going to have Lonzo at all and didn't do anything about it I said, "That's it, I'm done." If they're not going to make the slightest effort neither am I. I will not watch or go to one single minute of the Bulls this year. I still support the team, I still want them to do well, I still hope the best for the players and really like the tiny handful of guys we actually have, but they're not making one penny off of me this year. They're not getting my eyeballs on a screen to watch them. I'm not looking for big splashes in free agency. I'm not looking for blockbuster trades. I'm not even looking for a big run in the playoffs. I'm not saying blow it up and rebuild. Right now, all I'm looking for is having a COMPLETE FUCKING ROSTER. Can we try that first? Has this front office even seen a basketball game before? If we had traded Caruso or DeRozan at the deadline, our absolute moron of a GM would've probably taken back six small forwards in the trade, all 6'3" and none of 'em would be able to shoot. And now back to your Lakers drama, where they make mostly bad moves but at least they make moves.
After they kicked MJ, Phil, and Pip out, I was out. BUT I noticed the stupid 2-for-1 trade in 2014 (?) that landed them Doug McDermott when I wanted 2 of Rodney Hood, Gary Harris, and Nurkic. And I talked myself into the WCJ for Vuc deal... then I learned 1st Rd picks were involved. PLURAL. And lost my mind. Dumbass fucking team.
@@SchulzEricT I stayed in with the Krause rebuild. I had zero faith in picks like Elton Brand (a 6'8" stump with 14' shooting range), Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler (everyone else knew Curry would eventually be a bust, and it took Tyson a long time to be good - way longer than we were going to have him), but I stayed in. The Jalen Rose/Donyell Marshall/Jamal Crawford/etc. years in between weren't that terrible. The Ben Gordon/Luol Deng team that morphed into the Derrick Rose/Joakim Noah team that eventually brought Jimmy Butler... ups and downs, but during the down periods we always made an effort. And now in the Lavine era which eventually brought us Vooch, DeMar, Lonzo and Caruso... I've been in the whole time and fine with it. We all knew we're not going to be in the Finals any time soon, but we're still gonna compete. But the last three years? Making ZERO moves to fill massive holes in the roster? We've been too small for a really long time now which is fine if the rest of your team is like, run and gun and can make shots. Daniel Gafford and Tony Bradley were absolute garbage for us, but at least they were there. It's not the 80s, we're not looking for Patrick Ewing or Dikembe Mutombo here, but we're like Sacramento or the Clippers in the 80s and 90s with ten tweener forwards on the roster that do nothing well. When half of your roster is only in the league because they're on your team and nobody else will touch them, it might be time to reassess the direction. We could cut our roster down to like seven players and have the exact same record right now, they're all that terrible and none of them fill any of the positions we need. I'll support a bad team, I'll support a losing team, I'll support us when we're the absolute worst team in the league, but I won't support a team doing absolutely nothing. I feel so sorry for the players, wasting their careers away while the dogshit front office has both hands and their whole head up their own asses.
Tbh the lakers should move AD to the Thunder and the nets should move mikal to them as well theyd get lots of picks for both of them and each team could also stil get young guys
What has the Celtics done? Can’t wait to see Jimmy bounce you guys again with an inferior team. One chip in 30+ years lol. Keep pounding your chest buddy.
I hate this conversation. Bron may not be the best player in the league anymore, but he's still a high level all-nba guy. If you have Bron and AD then you should be winning. The Lakers don't have shooting. They're the worst three-point shooting team in the league. Get shooters. That would make them marginally better. They just lost to the Nuggets by 8 points and are only 3 games out from the fifth seed. You think getting some damn shooting wouldn't make a difference? Yes, LeBron should be putting pressure on the Lakers to make moves. What's the point in having these guys if you don't want to win?
ok 3 things--and by the way, this one of the first times i think both of these guys are wrong. first, it sounds like they're buying into d-lo now like everyone else (except toward the end they say he's a gamble). sometimes it's not who you add, it's who you get rid of. d-lo was, is and always will be a detriment to any team he's on. he creates momentum for the opposing team. second, they, and almost everyone else talk about the lakers making it to the conf finals last year. could no one see that that was a total fluke. and yes they sort of acknowledge memphis was injured but i don't even want to hear about it because it was exactly like when the hawks did it a few years ago--it meant nothing. and finally, you can't be ok with the lakers doing nothing at the trade deadline unless you just want to shut the season down now. i just counted 9 teams in the west that the lakers can't beat in the play-offs. 9! including the warriors--which they will be going home if they face them in the play-offs. so, nothing? even something as marginal as getting rid of russell and adding bojan bogdanovic or finney-smith can make a huge difference. so no, it's not ok that they did nothing. the lakers season ended thursday 3pm est.
what's wrong with them?!? lebron is putting up nothing but empty calorie stats. his game is objectively terrible this year, last year too... not even the ref's can get the lakers wins if lebron is going to play 30+ mins. his game/strategy whatever he is trying to accomplish out there right now is just destroying the teams chance of winning.
Lebron doing the Knicks towel thing is so “low” I thought it’s embarrasing. His passive aggressive tweets before were annoying but at least he can always “hide” behind the true meaning of it. The towel thing made him look like a clown. How can you be a “king” when you do the “jester” things.

I don't agree with that. The Lakers played the Nuggets consistently tougher than any other team did in the playoffs. Yes, it was a sweep, but every game was close and the Lakers had real opportunities to win all 4 of those games. @@ryanaromero are you serious? Everyone except Lebron (who is an idiot) knew that trade was a disaster. Both him and Westbrook can't shoot and are limited offensively to overwhelming physical dominance. It was a disaster trade and most people knew it straight away. Except you and Lebron of course.
@@brendonhowe2158people that say LeBron can't shoot are idiots. Dudes shooting above 40% from 3 this year which is far from leauge average lol.
@@Teebagzzzlol your ability to read a stat sheet is highly questionable. LeBron is a below average career 3pt shooter at 34%. Example 2018 against terrible eastern conference teams he was very confident. Opposite example, 2007 finals, 2011 finals, 2008 eastern conference finals, 2009 eastern conference finals, half of 2010 Boston series, 2014 finals except in garage time when he built up his stats in a 5 game gentleman's sweep against a 37 year old Duncan. It's really not hard to see LeBron relies on fast breaks, 0-3 ft drives and off ball finishing and free throws for most of his points.

@@joeshmoe8134 I remember clearly. He left cuz he had no one on that team. Plus he was younger then. Lebron is getting too old. AD needs a younger star next to him
@@joeshmoe8134 "He couldn’t carry the team by himself"...
... in the west. Lebron would know how that feels now. If AD was in the East with the same team he would have made a number of deep runs.
LeBron's last couple of prime years came before he even joined the Lakers
@@joeshmoe8134 If you remember the year before AD left NO, the Celtics were making a big push for him. If he would gave gone that way instead of letting Klutch tell him what to do, he would probably have 3 rings now.
It was reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne that the Golden State Warriors contacted the Los Angeles Lakers about a potential LeBron James trade prior to the deadline, but James and the Lakers were not interested in such a deal.
lebron won't accept that he can't push franchises around anymore
LeBronto I mean Toronto must be really happy with this comment 😉
His fans are the worst
Listen to Bill, but never listen to Bill when he talks Lakers or LeBron
Lebron is headed for the play in. While Russ and the clips are headed for the play in.
Reaves isn’t the third best player, it’s clearly DLo.
Reaves has been given far too much credit by the media and i don’t get it
Celtics fan here, I love all of the lakers moves. Would love them to value Dlo more than reaves
You're right, he's the 2nd best player after AD.
@@runningwithcat6195something I’d add is that you can plug AR into any lineup but you can’t necessarily say the same for Dlo
There was nothing the lakers could do that would make them infinitely better in the west
I will never respect the maimi move
@IM-st2yo I feel you man. I was rooting for LeBron up to that point and when he made that move I remember thinking "Dude.. does it matter if you guys win 7 titles. Just means that Dwyane Wade will have 8 to your 7. Weak shit." At that point I didn't realize how weak dude was.
Dude reminds me of one of those childhood actors that grows up to be a super weirdo. Add in the fact that LeBron didn't have a father and has been worshiped since he was a teenager the dude never had a chance.
@@jamesmiller5331You sound like the weirdo you think about lebron allday . Him not having a father ??? He's never had any off the court problems what are you are even babbling about .
Heat fans won't get over 2011...
@tonymack2007 he should get credit for that, no doubt.
But the weirdo politicking, the passive aggressive bullshit, the innuendo/1-year contracts with Cleveland, begging for a league stimulus package every trade deadline, I could go on and on and on there has never been a dude of his stature that acts like this and I don't know 🤷♂️ maybe it's because he's been worshipped like a fucking God since he was 15 years old and didn't have the upbringing to ground him (his mother fucked Delonte West for Christ's sake and that's just the one we know of).
It's not the man's fault and he's not keeping that family cycle going so kudos for that but his ego and his politicking are hard to like or admire. I tried.
Like I said though: he doesn't need my approval and he'll always have the LBJTQ Community ready to swarm anyone who has anything to say that could be perceived as "disrespect" and I'm sure that gives him a big warm and fuzzy 👏
Bill Simmons - mini skip bayless. Bron this Bron that, no quotes nothing
LeBron might ring chase when contract is up and be the 3rd best player on a championship team
I don’t understand why the Lakers won’t consider trading Lebron, why are they letting a 39 year old dictate their roster moves. Go get a young guard to play alongside AD and just build around them
Too late for that now but they probably should’ve tried
I’m STILL mad they lost Alex Caruso 💀💀💀💀 wtf they were thinking
Yeah that was horrible. Especially when they picked tht over Caruso essentially. That was a bad move haha
ESPN did a lot for you too Bill
The Lakers were not prepared to ruin the next 5 years of their team so LeBron can have another shot at it for one year. He's too old and he is a huge liability on defense. He's just not worth the trouble anymore
I cant wait for Lebron to leave or retire so I can root for my team again, watching him destroy my Lakers has been one of the most depressing things I have ever had to watch in sports
people really be overrating late first round picks...who did the lakers first round pick last year turn into? exactly
Lebron just need to take a pay cut and go join contender like most aging stars done.
a 2027 pick gets you a player like Vando or maybe not even.
The only trades anyone wanted to make with the Lakers included losing Reaves. That's a non-starter for any of the guys available
This squad made a good run to the WCF last year let the team build chemistry my goodness I watched the nuggets/laker game last night and my thought wasn’t “oh my goodness the lakers need to make a move” every year Lebron teams have to turn the roster upside down I don’t get it
Beat a depleted Memphis team and a GS team that was broken just to get swept in the WCF. This squad is going NOWHERE
@@HahaHaha-km4smwell they factually made a good run and beat those teams. I think they actually got further than what most people thought they would. I was definitely surprised they bounced back from that whole Westbrook situation and played well cause they were playing like trash.

Once the Lakers get knocked out in the playoffs, then both of you will say why didn't they make any trades.
It's amazing how utterly immature LeBron is. A cryptic hourglass tweet? Are you 12?
what's wrong with them?!? lebron is putting up nothing but empty calorie stats. his game is objectively terrible this year, last year too... not even the ref's can get the lakers wins if lebron is going to play 30+ mins. his game/strategy whatever he is trying to accomplish out there right now is just destroying the teams chance of winning.
40 year old LeBron on $51 mio next year? Think Lakers are stuck there.
Lebron doing the Knicks towel thing is so “low” I thought it’s embarrasing. His passive aggressive tweets before were annoying but at least he can always “hide” behind the true meaning of it. The towel thing made him look like a clown. How can you be a “king” when you do the “jester” things.
Now let's see if Lebron lets AR cook as much now that he isn't building him up as trade capital
Interesting, did LBJ tell you that himself 👀
I’d love to see any evidence that shows LBJ dislikes AR because their on the court chemistry seems as if there’s nothing but love and respect between them 🤔

I don't agree with that. The Lakers played the Nuggets consistently tougher than any other team did in the playoffs. Yes, it was a sweep, but every game was close and the Lakers had real opportunities to win all 4 of those games.
