The pain of watching an in-the-works story is real.
Interesting how this chapter takes place partaly during chapter 13 but mostly after it. I do like the more friendly back and forth between Clara and Uriuel.
I do like Uriel thoughts of Wyatt from his great ability of getting a quick read on people. Interesting to see how Uriel thinks he is hyper lethal person. I do like how well Uriel is able to sense Wyatt's projected indifference and perfect poker face. I do like Clara says Wyatt is a true knight.
I am surprised that Clara didn't say that one of the flagship's comanders thinks Wyatt is a new lone wolf. By sounds that to be a Lone Wolf 🐺 you have to be a hyper lethal person, which could easily fit the description of both what Uriel and Clara think of Wyatt.
Well that was a huge plot twist with a Drazin raiding squadron in syestem. Especially how the blood plants 🪴 were told what happened there. I guess this is were Wyatts Nior ship coming to deadly effect.
Also this probably will give the surving crew of the Samuel a chance of redemption to crew the ship to fight the Drazin and protect the citizens from those blood thirsty plants 🪴! After all the loyalist abroad the PRN Noir don't have the personal to properly main the ship for battle.
Oh, you shall wee what Wyatt has in store for the Drazzan and how he'll deal with that threat.
@ekhidna4 I do love Clara's reaction to the mass-produced tea that was poorly prepared tea (she is a tea elitist)😂.
I am still embarrassed that until a text chain in this chapter, I forgot that Noir is French for black or dark. 😂 So know i totally understand and agree with why Cynthia was exasperated with Wyatt renaming "Samuel's Honor" to "Black Ship"! 🤣At least Wyatt was creative enough to be fancy to give the ship name in French to make it fancy and not making any noble either totally exasperated, anger and/or doing their best to not laugh. I guess I will see in chapter 15 if you have officially reaveild the ships name's meaning in English for those who don't know any French at all (I only know a tiny bit myself) which you posted today.

So we know Wyatt hates the Drazan though not exactly why. He now has access to a destroyer class black ship I have no idea how he will kill 2 Drazan Cruisers and 3 Destroyers but he can probably take out the first cruiser before they notice him if Woodshaft are attacking as well there's a good chance with his skills that the second cruiser dies at that point they have the upper hand and the Drazan are apparently compost materials

It would be an interesting plot twist if he was actually a noble, but his family was cast down to the rank of Commoners😅
Edit: An even better plot twist is that Wyatt's family was actually nobles once upon a time, but they were cast down because they were the ones who started the last Civil War.
Let's see, with this twist could it be, that they are there for the princess. To kidnapped her? And Wyatt and Cynthia and there little crew have to go rescue her as her brother the prince faces this coup along.?

Wait so are the people in this story humans with this being a story about imperialistic feudal space humans or are they imperialistic feudal space aliens and the humans have just yet to appear yet?
Main characters are humans so far. The bunch that just warped in are aliens, plant based if I recall correctly. They’re mentioned earlier in the storyline.
To keep it simple, yes, the main characters so far are human from a human faction called the Astorian Principality (Principality for short) and is just one of the many, many human nations spread across space. Their governing system is based on a similar feudal class with a touch here and there of limited meritocracy and imperialist tendencies. There are aliens and the Drazzan is one such species.
@@ekhidna4 Nobles are cyber augments, and I bet the Royal Marines would qualify as living weapons... LOL. Got to say your writing is really good. The implant stuff reminds me a bit of some of the Sci Fi written by Elizabeth Moon. She also had some nobility themes in a few of her series. If I may ask, which Military Sci Fi writers do you enjoy?
Oh and what is that name Wyatt gave the ship? I tried googling it but I am probably misspelling it.

If we have to make thinfoill hat speculations my guess is that they Rebelius uncle is controlled by the outside force and end they end goal is to end royality nobility goverment
@@marcinmalczewski7049 Regarding the black ship, we indeed have to make aluminium hat speculations 😄 Personally, I always hope for a happy ending and Wyat marries the princess. And then he has to spend the rest of his life among the nobles 🤣🤣🤣
