My second-ever attempt at a longer storyboarding/animatic project -- it's quite a bit messy, but this is probably as far as I take it, I need it to be done so I can move on haha
I don't have any plans for more UTY/UT content after this, but I loved the battle concept and the music (Deal 'Em Out goes hard) and the character designs here so much and wished we could have a little more of them
I REALLY love the fact that Mooch spends all the fight bothering Ace.
I had way more fun with the "really trying to play it cool" vs "total gremlin-child" opposites dynamic than I was expecting haha
A classic moment when really good creation gets nearly 0 attention
Which'll be a shame because damn if there wasn't effort crammed into it all.

AW YEAH I REALLY THINK THE 4 DESERVED MORE!!!! I love how the animatic feels, switching from characters attacking and how comical they are with each other, often interrupting the other's attacks this is so much fun hehe!!

As someone else pointed out, VA work could definitely be improved but the choreography, the fights, the little touches of Ace and Mooch's asssholery towards each other, AND using their individual background instrumental depending on who's on screen, just **chef's kiss**

ayyy good to know the music change editing is coming through haha, decided I had to try to make it authentic :P and the Ace vs. Mooch contrast was definitely a lot of fun to mess around with

I love how you voice acted the whole thing (even if mooch's and moray's voices could use a little more personality). The characterization and the way you interpreted some of the bullet patterns or Clover's turns were incredible, like Clover being on the ladder, randomly downing Ice Water on top of a building, or even when they shoot the bell which is a really fun thing to include. It really does add so much flavor to the fight, actually an incredible animation you deserve so many more subs
this is genuinely so GOOD. the fight adaptation is so creative and original, and the animation is so fluid too it all works so well AA. the fact that this has only 2k views is criminal. GOOD JOB!!!

Holy shit this is PHENOMENAL! The fight choreography is really well done and in character, fits perfectly for how I imagined this fight playing out in universe, the additional character moments and interactions are great, the animation itself looks nice so far. Legitimately one of my favorite UTY fan works I’ve seen in a couple weeks, amazing job man 👍🏻💛
aaa thank you for appreciating the choreography and character interactions! there were so many little crumbs of personality and character relationships in the battle flavor texts and Wild East dialogues that I wanted to play with
I mainly wanted to do this as a storyboarding project so I probably won't animate out the whole thing past this (it'd take me forever), but thank you for the kind words I'm really glad you liked it :D

Also, i don't really know if anyone pointed that out, but i love how Clover looks scared when the Feisty Five all start fighting, this really highlights Clover's fear of conflicts! Regardless of that, the video was absolutely awesome! It was amazing!! And very funny as well 😊😂
Now, this is what i call quality! I really appreciated how you interpreted the in-game fight, so that it not only looks faithful to the original, but also like an authentic confrontation.

I love how everyone’s just messing with Clover every way they possibly can and then suddenly when Clover pulls out a gun and it seems like they're gonna fight back everyone is suddenly terrified, really good animatic I love it!
Great use of the terrain! Ed having to keep holding up the water tower and Clover climbing around was a great way to visualize the vertical attacks!

I really love the characterization and little gags you gave all the characters!! It’s super cute you did a great job!!!
That was better than I expected honestly. VA work as mid, but that takes a lot of effort to get good at. Animation though was far more involved than I expected. Felt like i was watching one of the old peak 00s or late 90s cartoons.
I'll take it haha, I have no professional VA background or plans, but in storyboarding, one sometimes has to get used to doing the voices themselves for live pitching or for animatic placeholders. thanks for watching, glad it was enjoyable!

The way you used the attacks and setting for the fight choreography is amazing! Especially with clover climbing the tower and landing on one of the bubbles, it’s super creative!
