Mac allister has been in several of Argentina's youth national teams. Scaloni did a terrific job, but Mac Allister was not a surprise pick for Argentina. Mac Allister, lisandro Martínez, cristian romero, tagliafico, julian Alvarez were all part of Argentina National teams at youth level. A guy who you could say "came up from nowhere" was Enzo. Most of the team made their debut for Argentina at u20s (in different years obviously).
