@@ExMajorX In school, when I finished Life is Strange, I had a huge "depression" afterwards and I could not stop talking about Life is Strange, espacially about Chloe. So, I do not know how long you could have kept the secret from me if I was your student haha

Bad grammar ahead. The game teaches many things. 1. You cannot avoid making choices and you must accept the ones you made. Max has this issue. 2. Things happen in life and you have to pick up the pieces and move on. Chloe has this issue. 3. It does not take much time and effort to reply to people. Max stopped texting Chloe back. 4. You should take time and listen to someone when they give hints that they are struggling. Chloe needed love and to feel she was important but the whole town did nothing for her and Kate and Rachel among others. 5. You should not had deep secrets like lying about a child's parent. Rachel's father lied about her mother and even hired someone to get her back on drugs. 6. You should never pick drugs over your kid. Rachel's mother did this. This game is full of bad mistakes and bad people and imo if this game was real it could have all been avoided if Rachel's father never lied or at least around the time Rachel's mom came back he should have told the truth and allowed her mom back in her life. If Max's parents would have allowed Max and her mom to stay for a week or so after Chloe's father died how Max's father went to Seattle for work and if Chloe's mom would have done a better job though her mom tried. Also here is a cool video on the game. ruclips.net/video/oFHVfhqXP4g/видео.html Side note, the system is also to blame meaning people in power like the principle and the local police and Gov that covered up a lot of the bad things going on like the Prescotts and Jefferson.
Whatt shut up no way. I literally had this whole idea in my head for a Rachel game where max and Chloe go back in time TOGETHER to save Rachel and then they all figure out that was stopped the storm and they have all these powers. Like, rachel reads minds, chloe compels people, and max reverses time. They find out theres a reason they all have their powers. Rachel and Max have trouble getting along a whole bunch and trio drama ensues. I would love to see a dynamic between the three characters. And max passing her powers on them by holding hands with them and slowly realizing shes gained some of Rachel and Chloe's powers too. Then max hops through timeloops to save Chloe and Rachel who ran off through photo hops themselves. Bro I want this game to be reality.
You can find the first set of books on Amazon. There are three volumes, now conveniently in one box set. But know that it ends on a cliffhanger into a new series. The first volume of the new series comes out next month.
It disappoints me that Ashly sees Chloe as actually WANTING to be let go at that point. I always feel like Chloe for the first time in five years doesn't want to die and is happier than she's been in that time. The reason she is offering her life to Max is because her mind and her insecurity and self loathing is still telling her that she doesn't deserve to live and that nobody will ever care about her and they'll always abandon her. She wants nothing more than to be loved by Max and to live their lives together. She offers her life to Max because she loves Max more than anything and doesn't want Max to live with the guilt of letting Arcadia Bay be destroyed. If Max chooses to sacrifice Chloe, Chloe freaks out and she is left to die on a bathroom floor having never seen Max again, never knowing what happened to Rachel, and feeling alone, unloved, and abandoned. If Max chooses to sacrifice Arcadia Bay, you can see the shock and relief in Chloe.. she can't believe that Max loves her that much, and kept her promise to never hurt or abandon her. I also believe that Joyce would rather die in that diner than to see Chloe killed in that bathroom. Also, the David scene in LiS2 is happier if you save Chloe. Saving the BAE is always the best choice.
I absolutely agree with you. I just started watching the video now. I don't think at that moment Chloe wanted to die. However, there is a tiny truth about what Ashly said. Chloe suffered her whole life, trying to find the happiness, dealing with grief and abondement. I have a feeling, eventhough developers did not admit it but I think she subconsciously put herself in danger because subconsciously she thinks "I do not have anything to live for, so if I die at this dangerous moment, so be it". Of course that does not mean she wanted to die and I am no expert on psychology but that is just a theory that I thought about. However, like you I do not believe that Chloe wanted to go at that moment and I have never wanted anyone to live on and find the light at the tunnel like I wanted for Chloe. She had to live and in my timleline there is no way in hell I would let her die alone in that dirty bathroom. I did not give a fuck about life philosophy about death nor did I give a shit about being egoistic. She HAD to live. Chloe is so full of life and I am not gonna allow any power to take her life away.
I agree and I'm very sad that she seems to lean that way, especially considering Hannah seems to support the bae ending. I wonder if Ashley will ever change her stance on this. She tells max she has made her laugh more than she has in years, over a matter of days. How can we say she wants to be let go?! No she wants to fall in love with Max and bake cookies
Glad too see that Ashly noticed all the clues in the game and agreed that the only ending that provided Chloe with the best arc for her character was the BAY OVER BAE ending.
I'm with hannah on the bae ending always. Chloe had a life of trauma. For her to go out in nothing but it gives little redemption, especially because even if the memories are real with max in another timeline, the one Chloe dies in has none of those memories, knowledge, or growth. She deserved to move forward with max.
I still think if they were going to blame the storm on her powers Max still could have stopped Nathan and saved Chloe. He had a gun at school I mean easy to bust him especially when David was watching him. She could have locked the door, stop Nathan from ever going in, Stop Chloe from going in, interrupted them while they were talking. You already had a lot of useful information. But this is something they can use if they decided to bring back Chloe that's even if the killing Chloe was the true ending. I'll also ignore she used her powers in 1st place to go back. And if you use destiny as an excuse you could use it the other way around. You have a girl who has the power to rewind time and it just so happens a tornado destroys Arcadia Bay. That was by chance? So who's destiny is it really? Chloe or Arcadia Bay? Don't vote? This action will have consequences. You missed a good opportunity here.
I always say that "destiny" is in Max's hands. She was given a power, it's up to her to use it however she see's fit. She didn't ask for those powers, there was no proof Chloe had anything to do with it or that killing her would prevent the storm. I'm a firm believe that Joyce would rather die in that storm if she knew it would prevent Chloe dying in that bathroom and I don't think she could handle losing William and Chloe. I also believe that the people of Arcadia Bay should have paid attention to what was going on instead of ignoring everything, wasting time on petty shit, and partying.. they had plenty of warning and time to evacuate or get somewhere safe, especially with their supposedly being bomb shelters there. I've played 6 times so far and could never choose to sacrifice Chloe. The first time, my only thought was, "why the fuck is there an option to sacrifice Chloe?!" before smashing that sacrifice Arcadia Bay button.
@@jimdabomb After playing LIS Before the Storm and LIS 2 I don't think it matters what you choose. They're all correct answers it's just the reality you want to live in. Everything is happening you're just following your decisions if that makes any sense.
@@ImNotCatACourtFromExclusive yeah, I feel like Max would always choose Chloe, as would I obviously but some people can't bear letting the town be destroyed.. with the alternate timelines, I suppose it's really a preference and hopefully Chloe does live on in another timeline.
Exactly. If the point is that you can't use your powers, fine. But you go back to the very start of the confrontation that Max could have easily just walked out as soon as they came in and be like "Nathan, I know about Mr. Jeffries. I know about the dark room. I know what he put you up to. And your options are kill us now and go to prison for life, because you're not going to get out of this room after shooting 2 people; or turn yourself in and get him sent away." No powers, and you both live. Instead of just sitting there and listening to the whole thing.
I liked the idea in thinking that something more powerful than death (the most powerful thing we know) is what gave Max her powers. And if that's the case, her using those powers to alter the outcome is even more "fate" than the original destiny if that makes sense. I mean Arcadia had tons of bunkers all around it. David was a vet with survival experience and tons of apocolyptic type supplies and was one of the only survivors of the storm. It seems like Arcadia was always meant to be destroyed. I mean the storm is coming even in the timeline where Chloe is paralyzed. It just didn't feel right to let Chloe die when her powers only showed up when Chloe and her were in the same spot together after years. Almost like a soul connection there.
Hannah is one of those people that is TOO kind for the world. She literally is just like Max . Good casting.

Hannah's a Christian? Her portrayal of Jesus is more New Age (and frankly blasphemous) than Biblical scripture.
