If you want a Moto100 REVIEW (and not a functional test), check this out: ruclips.net/video/8sBcV91ufxU/видео.html - PS: If you buy something, and return it because it doesn't work for your motorcycle, Amazon will not pay any affiliate commissions. That's why I recommended giving it a try to see what it can do for your particular motorcycle, and quickly returning it if it doesn't suit your particular motorcycle needs! :)
Hi Adrian, glad to see you're back! Excellent vid. To me, the most important item is being able to read engine/error codes, so you saved me a lot of money. And reviews are only as good as the integrity of the content producer. Thank you!
Hey Paul! Thanks! Yeah I really wanted to sing this one's praises because, the price is steep, but for the owner of a variety of toys it could make a lot of sense... Unfortunately, it really seems to only be valuable when things go wrong, and for the price point, I was hoping it would be more helpful on a more day-to-day level. Maybe not literally day-to-day , but you know what I mean :)
I have an Autel for cars/trucks and a GS911 for my BMW RT. They have been instrumental for being self sufficient. I'll happily pay $500 for this tool if needed. Hopefully there isn't a high subscription cost. I get needing a subscription to support development, but keep it low enough to make it cost effective for home users.
@@YouMotorcycle The GS911 has been a great purchase. In fact, I'm looking at purchasing another bike and it's in the list of benefits for BMW vs others. It's small enough to pack for trips regularly updated and useful. The HEXcode company has been great to work with for support and to add features. They worked with me on an issue with using the GS911 on an older r1150rt, which surprised and impressed me.

Thank you very much for this test, I own a motorcycle service in Istanbul. Have you tested obdstar ms80 (standard)? or is it possible for you to And yes, I follow you now and I will recommend you to all my friends. Thank you again
100% agree with you. I think this experience has taught me that lesson. I like the "universal" tool in concept... But nothing beats a manufacturer-specific tool.
Anybody needing diagnostics for Bmw DO NOT BUY CHINESE SCANNERS FOR BMW,S the gs 911 is the only scanner that works on all Bmw motorcycles, for other brands Chinnese are the only alternatives most of the time.
i would of thought you''d of shown / explained the very basic things like how you connect these to a bike . you spent a lot of time talking fast and well talking shyte
did you watch the video or just listen to it? I do show how to plug in to a bike. If you can charge a cell phone you can plug into your bike. Its pretty idiot proof. You'll be okay.

Holy Crap! I thought the GS-911 was expensive. Thanks for sharing with us.
Yeah. Turns out a "one size fits all" solution isn't necessarily best.

Cool! But have you used it for any motorcycles? As you can see, your GS911 can do a lot more for BMW motorcycles than this unit can
PS: subscription is $80/yr after the first year. You can use it without renewing but you won't get access to any new firmware or new motorcycles

Wouldn’t buying a 4pin or 6pin to OBD2 adapter and using existing my OBD2 scanner be easier?
Try it and let us know how it works for you.
👍for an honest review.
Thanks very much!

Thank you. No I have not tested that product, sorry.
Obd star ms800 review should I buy or not?
What?
Hey Adrian, this review must have taken you a while to do and produce. well done. Cheers Dave
Thanks Dave! Looking forward to you guys coming back in January!
@@YouMotorcycle Thanks for your support and also you have a great channel, cheers and all the best for the holiday season, Dave
If you own a BMW the GS 911 is worth every penny

Have you checked out the MotoScan option as well?
If anyone is thinking of buying a GS911 Pro, then don't. You'll be better of buying a icom next. Pretty much the same price

Looking forward to reviewing one. Cheers :)
No Suzuki or Kawasaki? It's useless, then.
...as opposed to how functional it was in the video for the other brands? 🤔😆
Waste of money. Buy a dongle and get an app
@@jeremycanning8934 what dongle and app do you use?
@@YouMotorcycle elm327 available on Amazon and eBay. App, Torque Pro, Car Scanner has very positive reviews
Thankyou
