Just finished my first row of intertwined blocks from your tutorial. So glad you make these sew and chats because you always take the stress out of trying something new. Thank you
I love this pattern, so simple but it looks beautiful when you put it together, those stars are really nice. I’m gonna try this in some bright colors and I may just use your suggestion of solids. Thank you, Tiffany! Have a great day.
You mentioned hot chocolate early in your video so now all I can think about is hot chocolate when I see the quilt on the wall…lol. I love these colors and hot chocolate! What a great idea to use up a bunch of random 5 inch squares!
Ya I only sewed from corner to corner to keep a 5" square. If you did 4.5" squares I would do 22 or 24 across by 22 or 24 down and 10 or so stars in it. So 80 hst squares.
Watching the replay. Like the placement of the blocks. The color choice tends to be a great man's color choice very muted colors. Not as bold fabrics and flowers or bright colors as we usually tend to choose. Great color and pattern choice, Tiffany. Keep up the good work.
Watching this on replay due to being in a different time zone. This pattern is lovely. Just wondering what it would look like with the accent in the middle of the stars. I suppose it wouldn’t be floating stars then. Just really enjoy your videos.
Tiffany, don’t iron the backing. Load it up on the frame, spray it with water, roll it up and back a couple of times, the tension of the bars and water removes the creases. A huge time saver.
Missed the live Tiff but so enjoyed the replay! Love the staggered stars and the fabrics. Looks so much like French General. Great odor selection and placement my friend!🧡🧵 I may end up using 2 layer cakes with 2 yds of background, to make a good queen size quilt. Do you think that would work?
Was there a total of 5 stars? I’m wanting to make another row of stars and add borders to make this a king size quilt do you think one more row will be enough? I’m terrible with math and usually just work it out somehow lol
A king size would be 20 squares across and 20 down. So you can do many stars. Just remember 8 sqares per star that are the HSTs keeping them at 5 inch. So I did 5 stars on mine so you could easily do 10 stars.
Hi Tiffany! Hey I don't want you to do anything that causes you pain or discomfort. If you want to do it then thats fine but please don't feel like you have to do anything for us. I love watching you but not at your body's expense. Trust me when I say that I can't sew when I'm in pain. Does that make sense? Not sure I said it right. 💕
Makes sence. I most times work through pain. But this week has been a struggle to. Today, I spent the day in bed, either sleeping or watching movies. I'm hoping that tomorrow I wake up with some feeling of being rested enough to get some work done.
Fabric costs are getting out of control. Shops are closing; customers are cutting back. It’s sad. I don’t want quilting to fade out. It’s too important🫶
Ya it needs to stay. It's just hard when the younger generations are not interested now, but when they start as they get older, the cost will be like 25 to 30 or more a yard of fabric. Maybe they will all acquire all there moms and grandma's stash 😄
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife Sad! But we can’t give up this wonderful craft/hobby/beautiful (often times) sanity saver! I lost interest in lots of “material” things, but ‘ain’t NEVER going to lose interest in “fabrics!”😊🫶

Yaay, I am glad you are making Intertwined 😊
Wow, I’m loving the pattern and I have a thing about black and brown and a beige accent. Total winner in my books. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Thanks 😊
I like the color of the stars
Nice, easy, quick way to make a cute quilt and use up a layer cake. LOVE that black background fabric. That was really pretty.
Sure is easy 😊
Watching on replay, My Dad would have loved that. It has a masculine look to me.

Have fun!
Idea! Big block quilt from larger pieces of fabric to make quick quilts! Love star blocks!
Finally a chance to watch your live!
I'm going to sit back and relax with some hand sewing while I watch you work
😂Looks great! I like this pattern ...
This looks very pretty! 😍
I like that quilt looks really good.
I love this pattern. Very sophisticated.
Really nice quilt, the stars make. It would be pretty with red, white and blue.
This is a really nice quilt pattern. your ideas are amazing.❤❤
Nice Quilt. I sent the location to a friend. We have tons of HST ready and waiting for a home. And I too sew daily on some quilt or another
I love this quilt. I can envision it in all shades of blue .......... I think that wold be spectacular!
It would be 😊

It would be great for a scrapy pile of squares for sure 😀 and some hot coca to sit and drink while cuddled under the quilt 😉
Thank you Tiff ❤❤❤
I started out with making my 1/2 sq tri’s and of course I came up with a 4.5 square and was scratching my head and had to go back and watch again 😂

Beautiful colours well done. Xx
Yeah, Tif, you show everyone what you are making and they say, Oh, I gotta have one like that. How soon can you have it done??? LOL
This will get done hopefully next BAT live. Then, it will hang unfinished in the quilt top closet for probably a year or more 😄 🤣 😂
Watching on catch-up.
❤❤❤
Watching “on catch up” too!!
Tiff, when you wash a quilt for the first time do you use color catcher?
Yup we use color catchers always for the first wash.

It would look cool, too. But you would lose the floating look for sure.

I iron backing on the longarm 😊 the tops are what I press on the iron board.

Yes, 2 cakes would make a rather large quilt 😊
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife -Thanks so much Tiff🧡🧡🧡🧡🧵

So cool, Tiffany! ALWAYS❤

I have forgotten what is the name of your rotary cutter please
It's a Martelli Cutter shrsl.com/4p2d8
Passando para deixar o joinha
I wish you would repeat the questions that Scottie says to you. I can’t hear Scott.
I try to, but sometimes I forget.
I like the layout what I can see of it but it's too dark and I have a hard time seeing the stars.
Did Tiffany do mail opening 10/14/24?
Last one was the 7th

Me neither. I have this as therapy more than anything 😌
