  • A business analyst should never walk into a requirements workshop empty-handed. One of the best things you can do to make your requirements workshops go smoothly is to provide your participants with a carefully considered set of handouts that can guide you all through the session.
    This is a response to a community question that was raised on the subject of meeting handouts. We discuss the content of the handout, but more importantly, the prep work that the BA should do to produce a "strawman" model before engaging the stakeholders for the first time.

    Is there a typo in your 'Conceptual Overview of Entity Model's' sheet? 2. 'A time' should be 'A Tyre'?

    How to use machine learning in business analyst feild ?

    • @BABLOCKS
      @BABLOCKS  4 года назад

      Machine learning is an area of study within AI and there isn't much currently for business analysts to do specifically with the machine learning aspect of AI.
      One area of AI that you may want to explore is process automation. Take a look at blue prism to see if it's something you're interested in. www.blueprism.com/product/

    Isn’t this a bit redundant if you’re in a room with a bunch of DBAs and MI SMEs? I’d feel like I was wasting their time.

    • @BABLOCKS
      @BABLOCKS  2 года назад

      Hi Citizen,
      DBAs should never be in your sessions. Your sessions should include only the stakeholders who have some role to play. They are either contributing to the requirements or are performing feasibility on the materials being discussed.

      Hi Azfar,
      Here are a few next steps you can take to build on this knowledge.
      1. Determine the questions you need answers to
      2. Find a place to ask those questions (such as our community or this channel).
      3. Ask the follow-up questions
      4. Listen to the response to see if it answers your question
      5. Repeat until you're satisfied
      Taking this approach will help you to dig deeper to arrive at the specific knowledge gaps that you have in your mind.
