thanks a lot. my device was a J415f with Android 9 (Pie) and what i had to do is i had to download the official twrp for my J4+ in the twrp and flash it with ODIN. my J4+ was J415FXXS6BTJ3 and i had tried the previous methods of this video with the TWRP version included in this video. Seems like it didn't work and when i downloaded the magisk and installed it, phone goes into bootloop and i had to flash my phone everytime i tried this video. Just remember. If you have this version or if you've tried this video and the phone's going bootloop after you install magisk, try flashing the official TWRP software with ODIN and then installing all the necessary files. Informative tutorial. Just rooted my J4+(J415FXXU6BUC1). Can confirm lockscreen & root are working stable for now. Actually I've wanted to root my J4+ to use call recorded. Incase if anyone wants to know you can use (Call Recorder - ACR + “call recorder-skvalex” magisk module) to record phone calls. And Thumbs up to you!
