    I still have some questions:
    1) If I'm not a student or a teacher, but it is my goal to memorise the Qur'an myself, am I allowed to recite (not touch) the Qur'an?
    2) I heard from an Ustadah that wearing gloves whilst on your menses does not make it permissible to touch the Qur'an directly, like a book copy, because that piece of fabric is constantly in contact with our hands, which are not purified because of lack of wudhu (but we can touch the phone/tablet screens without gloves).
    So which view is correct? Can we touch the Qur'an with gloves whilst on menses?

    • @fardus5262
      @fardus5262 4 года назад +1

      U can touch it with a fabric that is not attached to you to like move it but u can't touch it with the intention of reading it . You can also use ur phone but u cant read it while in menses

    • @falakgilani6448
      @falakgilani6448 4 года назад +7

      You can read it during ur menses, just cant touch it, cux we cannot touch the Quran without WUDU and WUDU is not possible during menses. But for reading the Quran one does not need to be in a state of WUDU. Also Allah Does Not Create difficulty and Loves those who create ease for others. No one has been told to stay away from the Quran for half the month, and we need the Quran every minute of our lives. There is NO sahih hadith of the Prophet Sm where he prohibited reading the Quran during menstruation. The Prophet Sm used to to lie in Aisha Rz's lap and recite the Quran when she was having her menses (Sahih Bukhari). So if there is nothing wrong with a woman's ears, there is no problem with her tongue either during menses. Moreover, as mentioned, the requirement of wudu is for touching the Quran, not reading it, based on a verse where Allah Says, None touches it except those who are pure. In no hadith did someone go and do wudu first to recite the Quran or any part of it, nor does any such ruling exist in any hadith.

      @falakgilani6448 4 года назад +3

      Yes the scholar in this video also said that if u wanna memorise, can read. But u can read even if u r not memorising, just cant touch. And yea when using a mobile, its the most convenient alhamdulillah cux there is no contact obviously. If u r using a suhuf, any piece of fabric is fine, any clean fabric, and there is no such thing as that fabric cannot be a part of ur clothing as the other comment says. If its CLEAN, and u r sure it is (but its not possible to keep our clothes that clean even if we arent menstruating or are junoob, so use sth fresh outta the cupboard preferably), then its good. And ur body is clean too except for one area.

    What about Qur'ans given to the non-Muslims during the time of prophet pbu? Did they have wudhu? So your answer is wrong.

  • @sanaas6235
    @sanaas6235 3 года назад

    The majority of Muslim scholars and jurists maintain the impermissibility for a woman in her menstrual period or in postpartum to recite the Qur`an or to touch the Mus-haf (copy of the Qur`an). It is the recitation itself that is prohibited regardless of the means. Therefore, it is permissible for her to read from the Mus-haf without touching it or to recall it in her head without uttering the words. There is no harm if she looks at the Qur`anic verses on the computer screen without uttering the words.

    • @layman-
      @layman- Год назад

      Without uttering the words what's the benefit? Will she be rewarded.?As we know moving lips is a must . Secondly you do know majority can be wrong. So one should follow the most correct opinion. For prohibiting something we need clear evidences,in this case are there any authentic reports prohibiting such

    Can she read a Quran with English translation

    • @layman-
      @layman- Год назад

      If she can read the arabic one why won't she be able to read the translation -_-. If you mean transliteration (one shouldn't do that even if he/she is pure because transliteration cannot accurately present arabic letters) and if you mean just translation you even can touch it during menses without any barrier as it isn't exactly quran. So reading is completely fine:)
