- ET’s Matt Cohen video chatted with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles about returning from quarantine to film the final episodes of ‘Supernatural,’ and what it was like saying goodbye to their characters, the Winchester brothers after 15 seasons. This show meant a lot to me, helped me decompress after two tours in Afghanistan. Watching this show was able to let go of shit happening in my own world and just be gone in someone else's. It's definitely not easy having this end 😕 feel like I'm losing one of my friends

I love how humble they remain. Both said how gratefull they are for the new things they will be doing. Jensen even mentioning "I can't compete with that" when talking about the other actors going for the role on The Boys. They are both amazing human beings and we are lucky to have them on our screens.

I am gonna miss all my boys so much, this has been 15 years of my life. During the course of this show I have lost loved ones (My beloved mother) and friends. I have had surgeries, I have laughed, cried, and watched the world come apart at the seams. Through every bit of it, the highs & lows, I've had The Winchesters at my back. I can not thank the cast and crew enough for the gift we've been given. Love you all.
I always had something to look forward to with this show. It's really surreal to see this end. I will absolutely follow everyone as they further their careers, but I will miss the show so much.

I'm 27 and I've been watching the show from the beginning. I was 12 when it started and it got me through some of that teenage emotional stuff. I'm sad it's over but also kind of happy because for me I finished high school with it, I went through college with it and it's time to start a new chapter.

I remember in season 2 when the show started becoming popular, in an interview they were like we keep our heads down hoping for another season cause we’re working lol that was 13 years ago,, they’ve grown so much
The Winchester Brothers will live on forever in the hearts of their fans and every episode that was created. You can't say goodbye to something that stays with you like those boys do!
I wonder how many peoples lives would be different if Supernatural was never made. Really, think about it and come up with a number. It's unreal.

Its been on for 15 years so personally i am fine with it ending, and to be honest i do still enjoy the show. But it should probably have ended 8-10 years ago. I apologize for my awful spelling and grammar.

You know a show is good when they cancel on their own because they feel like it. The ratings were so good it could've webt another 5 seasons but I agree that its time. I can see this show being rebooted with new characters and Sam and Dean being brought back to life even for like 2 episodes, fans will still be pleased. They'd be dumb not to make a spinoff. This was a veru successful show, I can only imagine how much money theyd make. Been one hell of a ride you guys. Best of luck to yall Jensen & Jared on your future endeavors. Cant wait for 'Walker Texas Ranger' reboot.
The ratings weren’t *that* good. They kept it on mainly because syndication and merchandise makes them a profit. But the ratings have been below average for a while now. Even still, the president of the CW said he’d keep the show on as long as Jared and Jensen want to continue to do it.
They’ve tried to launch two spin-offs and they were miserable failures. it’s not Supernatural without the Winchesters.

I alternated between crushing on Sam one season and Dean the other season. I have been watching these guys since I was a teenager. I grew up watching them... bitter sweet.

Yes, I love both of them. I love to see Sam walk and his facial reactions to Dean. I love to see Dean eat, he is very funny and protective of his brother. Both of them handle their business.
All I do is cry, I'm gonna wait until DVD comes out and on my day off binge watch season 15. I'm just not ready for it to end. Another 15 years please. 2020 sucks,
I feel the same way. I am going to wait until it ends, then binge watch it. I wish it would keep going. I first saw it in June of this year and I've been hooked.

Why did it have to end :(. This show, these characters, the storyline, has been there for me in more ways than anything or anyone. I’m extremely proud of how far it’s come. I guess anytime I need an escape, I can always start back to episode 1, season 1.

Jensen actually had a dream about how the show would end. It is kind of sad though. Jensen said he dreamt the show would end with Sam dying and there was no way of bringing him back. He drives out to the middle of nowhere, surrounded by corn fields. In the distance, he sees a motorcyclist approaching him. The motorcyclist meets up with Dean, does not take his helmet off. Dean gives the motorcyclist keys to the Impala and Jensen gets the motorcycle keys. The Impala takes off, leaving Dean with the motorcycle, since Dean does not need the passenger seat anymore.
Jensen got to keep Baby after the show.
Jared got to keep a version of baby, too. :)

i was 11 - 12 years old when supernatural started and i got hooked, and now i'm 27. it's been an amazing journey gents! thank you for entertaining us and giving us nightmares for these last 15 years.
When Jared was talking about that's a wrap it made me choke up naturally!
I started watching while season 4 was airing, went back and bought seasons 1-3 on dvd, then season 4 on dvd and caught up very quickly. I then watched season 5 live and have been with them ever since. I’ve turned my brother into a huge fan, and then my Dad. It’s been an amazing ride and I’m not ready for it to end. These two gentlemen have poured their blood sweat and tears into Sam and Dean and I thank them wholeheartedly for it. To the rest of the cast and crew and to the CW, thank you for giving us 15 years of these stories, these moments, and these brothers. Until we meet again...we’ve got work to do.
This is such a bittersweet moment, I'm truly happy for them and for their next and future adventures, but at the same time, it breaks my heart knowing that there is no next time of the Winchester brothers.

Loved the 15 years of this show. My kids laugh at me for watching. But the jokes on them, they don’t know what they missed. I started it from season one during this pandemic. Love love love. Will miss these guys!!! Glad I can always stream it!
I’ve cried a lot of tears because of this show ending.. I’ve been here from the start in 2005 to the end now😞 I’m not ready for the last episodes. I’m so proud of the whole cast as a whole. i love this show so much when i was younger my older brothers would watch it and i would sit there and watch it with them, this show will alaways be apart of my life this show has helped me and idk how any body could hate and the cast the main charaters jensen Ackles (dean), Jared Padalecki (sam), Misha Collins (cas) these men have changed my life i may not be able to meet them but they are like family and they are just heros and im very sad that spn is ending, i cant listen to carry on my wayward son without crying they have been apart of my life for so long and it is a very sad goodbye but they saved me so i thank them very much :(

I watched the 2 last ones last night. From the point of Cas dying for Dean ,I cried all the way till the end of the last. But during those last moments they turned into happy tears. A most fitting ending for Sam & Dean Winchester. And almost forgot my other fav goodbye Baby I think I will miss you most.
Supernatural may have stopped creating new episodes, but the 15 years of awesome scenes fighting monsters and winning, that will never die. Sam and Dean are immortal.
You did it......with the most raw deep real emotion. This was acting at its best. We love you guys always will.

This show has been a part of me and 15 years with 15 seasons is a long time and I literally grew up watching supernatural and watched jen and Jarad grow to....and to see that its ending it's really emotional for me cuz I've never seen any show like supernatural and no show can ever be leveled up to supernatural and hope we get a good ending that we all deserve!!❤❤
