When I listen to it, I can picture myself in that same field looking around as the sky changes around me, the yellow light coming from a source I cant understand all the while wind blows making the grass below me and the trees in front of me move and create noise that both fits perfectly with the music and elevates it even further. What I would do to spend an eternity in that place forever. Pure ethereal bliss in the threshold.
The ambience, the spacious yet warm feel of these compositions coupled with the idea of the backrooms/ liminal spaces that were born from this impossibly endless nostalgia is such a cool experience. I've never really felt anything like this since the floaty, lonely sounds of the Aphex Twin. I really hope you continue creating these, having fun while instilling this hard to come by emotion to others is the dream. Wish you the best of luck on your journey!
"Stairway To What Once Was Heaven" has a deep, desperate sadness about it, which doesn't make it bad, of course, but it stands it stark contrast to the etheric dreaminess of the first four pieces.
This is awesome, I especially liked the Liminal Lounge pic and music. Most if not all of the music in this video (and I think the pics to some extent) conjure up nostalgic scenarios in my head, the two go so well together. I will probably watch and listen to this on a regular basis, definitely one to download and put onto my USB stick.
