Rioters actually destroyed government buildings in other states. They made all kinds of threats to storm the White House and get him.
With these guys rather see a bunch of military folks with rifles bayonets whatever else hurting people, or would they rather see people stopped by a passive barrier like a fence?
Those are the types of options that this situation presented.
If they want to say something about the president, perhaps they should look at his past history with the black community. They should look at the laws he recently passed, which his predecessor did not, that are aimed at helping people take steps forward. He has actively set people free. I want his critics to pay attention to some of that.
