I always use Business Class I don’t have to line up checking in and I can relax in the lounge and don’t have to search for a seat. If I wanted to I could check in Business Class with just 10 minutes to spare and I have more than one glass of Champagne, Lovely 😋
The problem with both StPancras and Paris Nord is that both are listed termini and unsuitable for expansion. Both become crowded when there's disruption. By the way Eurostar has become expensive because since Brexit it's had to sell 30 per cent fewer seats ex-London because of delays clearing immigration. (Make an online search and you will read this news on several media sites) As Eurostar considers itself more an airline than a train company the loss of capacity equates to higher fares.
I've been Standard (for pleasure) and Business (for business) but never Standard Premier! I would definitely like to try it - for me a more comfortable seat (same as Business) and some food/drink is good enough for 2-4 hours on a train and the perks of Business (fast-track security, lounge and ticket flexibility) for personal travel really don't justify double the cost.
Thank you for sharing. I've always wanted to try riding the Eurostar. Very useful information❤ By the way I know a discount can find cheaper train tickets, if someone needs, I am happy to share ❤
The Eurostar is very great, although when I take it, it's a little firm for me in standard premier. I paid around 130 dollars due to me booking early, although the prices can increase to around 200 - 250 dollars for a one way train. I like Eurostar, but the price keep me from taking it every time I come to Europe.
Glad it was helpful! I think the legroom was fine, I think we kicked each other once by mistake. It was more awkward on eye contact. I was also lucky that his traveling companions were further down the carriage and he spent some time with them. If I were purely on vacation I would have just gone for a solo seat, but I needed to catch up on work so wanted the table for my laptop.
I’ve thought about it. I haven’t taken an Amtrak overnight since the auto train to Florida as a kid. There’s plenty of “I took x train for y hours” with a sleepy disheveled face on RUclips already. In general I’d rather get to my destination sooner, but I’ve definitely considered several scenic routes, especially out west. So no concrete plans, but open to it on the right route.
I absolutely LOVE Eurostar. I've been on it multiple times and intend on going again. Oh, and St. Pancras is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

How does this video only have 868 views? It is entertaining, informative AND you have a sense of humour. I really enjoyed it!
Thanks, it's just the small RUclipsr grind. Been doing these for 5 years now! Glad you enjoyed it!

How was the legroom once the other passenger sat across from you? Thanks for this video, btw. Very informative!

Have you considered doing a review of one of Amtrak’s long distance overnight trains? Would love your review of one …

@@Travelog there’s a lot out there but none with your point of view and blunt honest opinions. Just my two Pennie’s worth.
I quite like the Eurostar E320 Class 374 as they are manufactured by Siemens and are lot quieter than the E300 Class 373.
Surprising. I say that because the newer Siemens units have distributed power hence not as refined as the original Alstom sets.
I need to come paris
How is standard. I looked online for prices for $115
Should be absolutely fine! 2-2 seating. I have taken it but literally decades ago.
I am autistic when I went I skipped all lines.
Ok pratique mais pas assez de sièges.
