I ordered this! I cannot wait to receive it! Don’t know why people are complaining about the setup. This is clearly made for convenience. We will see how it goes 😊
Winter hit and did not get it installed. Spring will be here soon and will get lots of chances to use it. Had a really good look at the product and all looks durable:) still a bit more expensive than I would have liked but I have learned you pay for convenience;) I will post a follow-up when I put it through a weekend:)
I'm liking this setup more and more! Not a fan of weight for serious wheeling and this could definitely work for my Death Valley back country adventures.
Same. I take it the entire thing rolls up and stores out of the way so all I have to do is release a couple straps and it takes me maybe a minute to set up? That's what I'm hoping anyway.
As many have commented, would like to see disassembly, can it be paryially disassembled and kept partially installed, or does it have to come off completely everytime?
Cool product. It looks like it would need a pole in the center to reinforce so rain will go to the sides and not pool between the Velcro and the fiberglass u Rod.
Blue Collar Studio I was thinking the same thing. maybe 2 curved poles, the one already there for the top portion and another pole for the tailgate/door section and 1 more going from the center top portion pushing tension out where the 2 curved poles would meet. Also a screen mesh door as well.
velcro is the only thing holding it on? some heavy rain or wind or light snow pilling on there might tear that right off. maybe... has this been wather tested? under heavy weather conditions
Velcro is very strong until eventually wears out. I assume velcro will hold rain and even one average snow fall. It's not like 3 little 1" velcro hold points... it seals out the bugs so it's velcro lined. Could re-sew new velcro on after using it 200+ times.
I wonder if this will work on a jeep gladiator? I know with tailgate down you got bed length of 6 ft 9 inches, be cool to be able to sleep in back camping in the boonies.
I guess you can only purchase true you guys I have 2013 Silverado with 6.5 bed and aluminum topper not carpeted I like the bigger opening on left side of your video I'm guessing that's $395 one ...do you guy work with affirm is a finance com.very republe I just got a set of 5 tires I m interested in the topper tent ...let me know I went to your site I couldn't make a choice sense there is none to my knowledge... Thanks ...
For all the complainers out there.. If you're moving campsite to campsite, all you need to take down is the bungees on the tailgate, and the tent pole. 30 seconds. Make sure your tailgate won't pinch and close everything up.
I didn't realize this was made in China until I received it. I just figured it was made in the US. That's what I get for thinking I guess. LOL. I would have probably went with another option had I known. Pricey for china made. I get what people were saying now.
This is great! I'm building out a custom camper shell for my Dodge Ram with 6.5 foot bed, and at 6'4 could use a little more leg room. This may have helped solve that problem. Plus, you are a MN company right? I'm from Mankato.
Velcro wears out after frequent use. Just get a "Shiftpod 2" and throw it in the back of your truck, when you get to the campsite, take it out and set it up, then you'll have way more space and you'll be able to keep more camping gear in your truck. 🤷🏼♂

Death valley is awesome
A hack I use some is a wall piece with window from a clam quickset shelter. One of my dogs likes to chill on the tailgate
Do you guys plan on making a video of the Velcro install?
Can you show the process of the topper lift being stored back into the cab?
guess not lol
Still nothing. …that’s the part of the process I’ve been searching for.

Really think this is gonna be my setup for fishing and camping adventures on my RUclips channel. Wish there were more videos to check out!
What are the privacy panels that’s referred to on the website? it never explains what they are
Please show the process of break down when done - does it all have to come down? Can you just unzip and go?

Will these work witb a softopper?

@@TheSkystrider 200 times? Even if I take this off 10 times a year it should last me 20 years then? Seems just fine.

I’m actually picking one up for my ‘21 Gladiator Rubicon with the ARE CX topper. Should fit nicely without issue
Long set up, a large tent could be set up in same time. And what about leaving up to travel? Or poping up ez lift system?

I just purchased a Nomad using Affirm. No tax or shipping fees.
Would this fit the Leer topper with the 4" taller height?

Way too fiddly. Total pain.
@@PS987654321PSIf you're retarded, yes, it's too 'fiddly'. lol
Will this work on a soft Topper ?
This is a better option. ruclips.net/video/wM_f4N1M5Xw/видео.htmlfeature=shared. Soft Topper approved :)

I would hate for someone to rip that off the thin velco mount. I sleep naked out in the bush.....
Just buy a regular topper and lay in the back to sleep with topper on and truck locked my ram 1500 tailgate locks
Hi do you ship to Australia
Where can buy?
Very nice
work on an 06 GMC Canyon?
Ya lost me at Velcro
Anybody can rip it off easily

@Honda buyer Have a link to what you're referring to?
Looks neat......but for $500 i can buy an amazing tent......
Then go buy the f'ing tent, id10t.
what a hassel setting this thing up..........

That's over $1,000 though
How often are people removing this thing? I doubt it's that much where they're wearing out the velcro. Come on man.
That leaks water into the truck bed.
This looks like a pain in the a....s
Really? I guess if you have less than 80 iq it would be tough.
Imagine trying to do this in the dark..
Imagine not being a retard?
I could set up Gazelle overland tent faster than this.
Well that just takes way to long. I think I will stick with my rtt
Not a chance this is worth $500..
Stop being poor. GFY.
LoL, im not poor....because i dont spend my money on crap
This looks like a pain in the arse. Too complex, and too annoying to do this on a daily basis.
Yeah man you're right. If you're an id10t then you should use something else.
@@DegenGamingNo one is buying this garbage. Even the guy in video cant put it together properly.
Not on my life would I buy that crap.
Oh that's cool. How about you GFY?
