I came to the comments to say I love the idea but it’s a bit too crowded for me then I realized this is a Colorado and I have a Silverado. This set up is genius.
I havent noticed anything, but I also havent been looking super close. I believe there is a thin layer of metal around the mounting holes on mine also so it seems quite sturdy
I believe the lifters give it an extra 17" on whatever your starting height is. Mine isnt quite tall enough to stand up fully straight, so I would estimate about 5 and a half feet tall or so
Very cool. Thanks for the look…amazing trip!!!! Hope you had fun!
Thanks for the review. I am considering getting one for my 2018 Silverado with a mid-rise Leer 180XL I just purchased.
Thanks for the video. I have the same set up. It’s really nice.

It is a universal system meant to fit just about any size or shape of bed and matching campershell. They claim the lifters can even raise 900lbs
Thats a real good idea with this camper shell.
Taller would be even better but this height is workable.
nice vid, just took delivery of mine, hope to deploy it this weekend!
is there any signs of fiberglass stress on the mounting location im worried about cracking the top due to the wight concentrated on 4 small spots
