Despite its flaws and the fact that it is not perfect in the script, Way of Water is Audiovisually speaking something that I am glad to see in the cinema, in that sense it is perfect
While I feel it could have been shorter for a theatrical release visually it's on a level I haven't seen at least with everything involving water. Just nuts.
Watching avatar in theatre was one Hella experience. Probably one of the few movies where the story and plot didn't mattered to me, the frames and the way it was shot itself was so mesmerizing to watch ❤
Wait I just realized, but at 0:08, you see how the fish start circling around Kiri's feet and not Jake's? I think it's because of her connection to Eywa - neat detail!
Not only were the visuals of _The Way of Water_ easily *_at least_* 20 times better than in the first movie, but it's odd that James Cameron could conceive such beautiful shots. Because he was never known for being flashy; he was always more interested in giving you exactly what you need to see in the most functional and grounded, yet exciting, way possible.
Yeah but honestly with Titanic one could see him embracing the beautiful. I still use Aliens, T1 and T2 as inspiration for more grungy and neon noir photos
The Cinematography shots for AVATAR: The Way of Water are AMAZING & OUTSTANDING! And everything will be one of the most unique Cinematography shots in Cinema history. irayo = ‘Thanks’ 🦋
When they began the sequence at 1:56 with the carpet of fire moving like a wave across the landscape that consumed everything in its path and the huge trees came crashing down, I had my hand over my mouth in a stunned silence. That scene was so powerful. It fully felt like watching the apocalypse. And when the hatch drops open at 2:08, it was like the mouth of Hell itself had opened up and all its demons were poised to destroy the world. James Cameron is a genius.
Let's not get out of hand. This is nothing like kubrick or malick. And that's not a bad thing. I never once envisioned James Cameron to be like those directors.
I think this is the one movie you cant make it in just 5 minutes, this video should be 3 hours, thanks a lot for making this video my friend, love and respect from sri lanka

No matter how much time passes, the Avatar films are still looking good and better than the most recent Marvel films. Thank you so much for bringing this video for us. PD. Amazing shots of Spy x Family, Dr. Stone and Puss in Boots: The last wish, please?
After 13 years, who would have thought that James Cameron would do the same thing again but take it to the next level. And yes, he may have his pros and cons about him, but both the first and this sequel are visually beautiful and mind-blowing, well deserving of the Oscar for best visual effects.
Thank you so much for taking my request! You're amazing thanks a bunch. This film is better than the original by the CGI has gone better Thanks to James Cameron and the people for their 13 years work of coming back to Pandora 😊
3D is a neat gimmick and definitly adds something to the experience, but to me 3D, at least to my vision, makes most of the picture blurry, which doesn't do service to the crystalline perfection, that stunning beauty of each frame. Even tho people will shame you for watching it in 2D, it definitly has its upsites. In 3D you just don't get the same image quality, you don't see frames the same as in clear 2D. Real IMAX and 2D would really make this feel sharper than reality.
Please do Amazing Shots of Creed 3! I was so surprised with how cinematic they managed to make a boxing movie, easily one of my favourite movies from the last year
I'll be honest, i didn't like the story too much, but the visuals were breathtaking. Definetley a movie that i recommend watching in cinema just for that!
the movie should’ve had more music like that , was a bit disappointed in the score ngl compare to the first movie but unfortunately james horner wasn’t able to live long enough to make the score of the second film RIP.
Hey I don't know about you but you knew that in avatar 1 the CGI didn't look so real but in avatar the way of water the CGI looks very real I don't know if you noticed that and something else avatar the way of water they didn't put it on Disney plus they put it on prime video because they put it there you know

You can tell that The Avatar Series is James Cameron’s biggest investment. Bigger than Terminator and Titanic at this point
I'm baffled that this didn't get a cinematography nomination. The first one was mostly Cgi and it won Cinematography

I wasn't a HUGE Avatar film but this one sold me on the franchise just on its CGI alone. The story itself was fantastic. I'm sort of a big fan now.
