i always have the battery disconnect issue with XT/EC/Traxxas, every kind. so i decided to use a velcro strap through the battery leads and esc leads. for about 2 years now. so many fewer session interrupts now.
full disclosure: i kept the sledge boxed, never got around to opening it, before the XRT was released. so uh, yeah, Hotswap + cost diff at my LHS for the bigger brother. i LOVE these sends but dang, i'm still cringing at those curbs. 😬 More sending more wrenching! can't wait to get my virgin GLRC order in this week!
I never have a problem with IC5

Thats a good idea
Ya Iam with you on Ec5, 90% of my rigs have EC5 , hopefully very soon all of them will have been converted, great video brother 😉👍🏽💯
Curious how did you end up fixing the ESC tearout!
I went to anti spark xt 90s and never looked back. They hold tight and handle the power fine
Cool RC and awesome bashing
Use Electrical tape around the connection. The connections come loose more than TRX plugs lmao

Funs done it broke.
That was a very hard hit and that is a break that esc cost 160 and you might can't use it in that truck again
Your IC5 connector is too loose. Just spread out the prongs of the male side a bit and it will hold much tighter.
Broke is broke you heading home broke truck 😢
ic5 ... the worst .. great bash bro
It's a Traxxas so you most likely will be going home with a bunch of broken parts 🤔🤔ARRMA🤙🤙
You couldn't finish your run so yeah your rig is broke
