Deep Deep and Deep. Amen to that on your stance on school putting you in a box. Such deep wisdom and knowledge of the way to go forward. Encourage the interest! I love it.

Also it's interesting to hear things like Bitches Brew and to hear the various electric piano players on that album. Trying to work out who is playing what and the styles they form. I really like the stuff Chick played at the Isle of Wight on that RMI electric piano.....it's funny isn't it what makes us and what we choose to play. It's your whole character and every experience going into those seemingly almost random notes.

I always like to believe in myself the world has so much to offer and as we get older we should be open to change and embracing new things...it must be very interesting people of his age now living in our internet generation. Jamulus is a thing to check out if you haven't already....people jamming online together.

Chick's "My Spanisj Heart" was the first bona fide fusion of jazz and flamenco I ever heard. Miles tried to do somthimg similar in "Schetches of Spain" but it wasn't as accmplished.

Oh by the way..... Motivation must be a very very interesting platform for sparking you to stay motivated. Music, Food, Art, Sex and other stuff are just many things that make the not so average person go above and beyond. That's just my two cents worth. Excellent interview. And stop smoking!!! 😁🤟

The unfairness of life, that Chick isn't able to see his superb initiative fully blossom. His immense talent and energy is a big loss to music and the arts.

Very strange when the interviewer tries to dictate the interview to the interviewer. I know he’s trying to hustle the academy and all.. I see the ads on Facebook constantly but dang....

Most musicians just shouldn't interview other musicians.. it seems you weren't getting the message at the beginning of the interview when he politely mention he wasn't trying to get caught up in a downbeat style fantasy interview, he was there to talk about his academy..
