Interesting mash-up, the expedition part was done in Alfresco (-Enfield and +Coltrane) and the defective senses bit was later redone in A Bit of Fry And Laurie. Surprisingly good version.

Come to think of it, so did my next-door neighbour Mrs McAlaistair not go to the Antarctic, and she's 93 next month. Intrepid pioneers? Pshaw! I don't think so!
They were the first to think of not going to the antarctic tied together in the three legged position. They said nothing of being the first not to do it, its all in the mind rather than the action.
