In the days of the Old Kingdom, the Nile Valley was actually a fertile lush tropical landscape with swamps. The whole area was humid AF. The heat that ancient Egyptians had to deal with wasn’t just dry heat. It’s also the reason why crocodiles, hippos, mosquitos, flies, and malaria were such big problems back then.
Do you know of any books that marry the ancient history and the climate history on that specific time period?

Why no mention or no videos of Nubia and the Nubian Civilisation? Kush Civilisation! One of, if not, the first civilisations in earth.
Sadly because people still believe Kush to be a bad imitation of Kemet.
It doesn’t help also that the Egyptian goverment flooded Qustul.
Hopefully channels like Hometeamhistory & myself can reattach Kemet back to Africa through history videos.

I hate it when you say it originates in Ethiopia and Kenya, Kenya!! there is no branch of the river in Kenya and in Ethiopia it just branches off creating another river called the Blue Nile, the true source of the Nile is in Uganda's Lake Albert where the river clearly starts you can also say it originates in Northern Lake Victoria in Uganda and then forms Lake Kyoga then it pours into Lake Albert and from then on its the River Nile, so it doesn't originate from Burundi, Congo, Kenya or Ethiopia like people say, that is a big misconception.
Actually 85% of the Nile flows downstream from the Blue Nile in Ethiopia.
