Your videos inspire me to hit the small creeks in my hood! Thanks. Multi species are way fun to fish, even if they're small! People who don't understand fishing, it's your surroundings, and holding, and looking at the fish! It's awesome.....
I enjoyed watching all your videos. I like how realistic you are, that you fish heavily for trout, fish creeks, rivers, and small lakes. That’s the type of fishing I enjoy here in Alberta, Canada. Thanks for all the gear tips as well. Please keep filming more.
I have loved Trout Fishing all of my life, and the places it leads me to. Your video's are excellent and crystal clear. They are a joy to watch during the snowy days. Thanks for making all your Trout Fishing Video's.
Another awesome video Fish Hawk... I had some rocks collapse on me while I was shallow wading a few weeks ago, all silt underneath. Wet boots the rest of the day. Good times.
Spring stocking is over and they hit up your way, they have mixed some nice Brown and Brooks in with the Rainbows. Awesome video. We hit Knapps Creek and Williams River yesterday. Keep the videos coming my friend.
Horse creek in sullivan gardens, kingsport TN is a good spot to use small lures. You should make a video there some time. My favoret spot is under a brig bellow a base ball and socer field.
that was definitely not a disappointing day! I'm gearing up right now, in a week I'm going to Mexico and going fishing in different places! it will be interesting because I don't have any idea about what types of fish and environments i might find but I'm definitely shooting some videos! I'll let you know how it went! 👍👌✌️ may you enjoy many more casts brochacho!
U fish the right way by casting a line 8-15 ft away that's the way my grandfather taught me to fish, the fish can see outside the water and anything (human or animal) will spook them ... this increases your catch and shows your patience in the sport your a good fisherman
I beg to differ, I've worn bright neon shirts and stood 2 feet from the water and caught my limit within 20 minutes. But you know what WILL spook a trout? River otters and beavers. Seen that happen too many times.
I just got home from doing a little creek fishing , almost landed a few trout . Tried each hole , had trout in each one . Then went back to the same holes , but the fish were already scared ! Until next time .
Hey what’s up just a quick question. I’ve noticed on my (8 lbs fluorocarbon) line that once in while there are little weak spots. I’m not sure if it’s a fray or not because it’s is pretty small and insignificant and hard to notice, but I can tell something probably happened to it and it’s a weak spot if not a fray. There’s no ripped line by the spots or anything, just bent and weak. Do you think it’s safe to cast and fish with these small frays? I’m afraid it can snap either by a strong cast or a hook set but on the other hand it’s so small, and I don’t know what can happen if I don’t do anything about it and just leave it. If you had experience with these kind of things, I would really appreciate your help. Thanks
I'd rather be safe than sorry. I run my fingers up and down my line every once and a while to check for rough spots or weak spots. If there are some that seem bad/rough I will cut and re-tie. Takes less than a minute to cut and re-tie. You could hook your PB on the next cast. Best to re-tie!
A place I’m recommending is Devils Lake, ND. Just went there last week and tons of white bass! Also caught a 3ft northern so it’s also a good spot for pike I guess so. About a 6hr drive from where I live to Devils Lake but it’s worth it 100% I’ll really appreciate it if you’d give it a try
Great video man! I have a GoPro Hero5 as well, what quality do you film in? Ik I can record up to 4K but I am afraid it will kill my battery SUPER fast.
I was using an Okuma Stratus V10. It's rated for 2, 4 or 6 lb line. The 2500 Sienna might be a little big, but would still work. Ultra light rod would work well.
Fish Hawk it’s a reality when fishing for trout. They always seem to be in the precarious of places. We fish the lower mountain fork river in southeast Oklahoma for rainbows and browns (all stocked.) I count on skipping and falling at least once every 3 trips! Ha ha. Enjoy your videos
Watch where you step next time, bud! Them wet feet ain't no fun way to spend your day fishing. Other than that, great video! (Sorry you lost that last one)!
@@ethanfrey1543 I'm so down! haha We don't have very big trout around here. They are few and far between. Do you have an email address or instagram. I'll hit you up if I'm ever up that way.

Hell yeah! Just stocked mill and middle creek yesterday. You ought to do a Sleepy Creek video.
Jason Rowland I saw that! Haven’t been out yet this week. I might have to. I don’t do well up there. I struggle lol
Fish Hawk I’ve been doing well in the kayak. Have been catching a lot of black crappie lately.
Jason Rowland that’s awesome! I would love to catch some Crappie. That’s something I hardly ever do.
Like the hat!! Go Mountaineers!!,🏈⚾️🏀

Hay fish hawk, do you thank me and you can go fishing some time. Your amazing!
Don't feel bad about falling in. I've done it twice within about a 10 minute period haha. I love soft plastics for trout.

Upstate Fishing cuz it is man
Dude are those stocked trout? I don’t think we have anything like that where I live.
Yep they are stocked. Where are you from?
Fish Hawk we have stocked trout in VA but I’ve never seen native trout.
There are native Trout there. They are hard to find. There are a bunch in the George Washington National Forest. In those small mountain streams.
Jackson River in Southwest VA has some awesome native & stocked trout.
Andrew Melander roaring run is great for native brookies
Will that small fish you returned , survive ?

Fish Hawk lmao it’ll probably be worth the drive
i’m gonna go and order some of their baits
Awesome! I don't think you will be disappointed!
Sweet video! What state do you live in?
awsome
Thanks man!
Did you forget your net this time?
Yes :(
it would be nice to know where you are fishing?
Nice video
Thanks Ryan!
In the beginning, was the rainbow cut in The back of its body, it just looks like it
are you talking about at 0:02 ? I don't see any cuts
What on the Walmart fishong combo are u using
lol the rod and reel are both from Dick's Sporting Goods. The reel is an Okuma Stratus S10 and the rod is a Field & Stream TEC-Lite 5'6" ultralight.
I know you that you wet your hands but I don’t thing putting the fish in the grass helped
the next person that says anything about wetting your hands should be banned,
Great video man! I have a GoPro Hero5 as well, what quality do you film in? Ik I can record up to 4K but I am afraid it will kill my battery SUPER fast.
Thanks man! I film in 1080p 60fps. 4k will definitely drain your battery fast.
Fish Hawk Thanks buddy that helps me out!
What size reel are you using? Do you think a 2500 sienna with 6lb line and a ultra light rod would be fine?
I was using an Okuma Stratus V10. It's rated for 2, 4 or 6 lb line. The 2500 Sienna might be a little big, but would still work. Ultra light rod would work well.
Fish Hawk-Have you or anybody in the comments tried the Savage 3d Mayfly soft bait?
Nice 👍
Thank you!
awesome vid! are those wild or stockers?
Stockers :(
Awesome video! I subbed ya! Lets Go Mounties!
Thanks man! I'll get ya back. Let's goooo Mountaineers!
Where do you find these creeks? Public? Also I’m a new sub👍
Thanks for subscribing. Most of the creeks are in WV and MD

If you ain't fallin' you ain't fishin'!
John Bolin I like that. I like that a lot!
For sure! I'm good for a few stumbles and falls. Thanks for watching! Tight lines!
Just try not to let the fish hit the ground it wipes away they’re slime. They end up swimming away fine but die later
You’re a fucking lie lol
Do you not watch how many bass hit boat carpets then get put back in a livewell lol??
Nice plastic bag tackle box.
Rob W gotta do what ya gotta do
No sinker?
Good job, Nice fish all around. 💪😎
Thanks!
Which Trout species are natural in the US? Rainbows cannot breed naturally where I live, so I catch river trouts and sea trouts here.
I know in my area Brook Trout are the only native Trout species. Not sure about out west though. Tight lines man!
How are you fishing the bait
Just casting it out and reeling it steadily back in. While reeling, I am shaking my rod tip to give the bait a little action.
I just moved to Washington and I'm from the south the fishing is so different
Beautiful rainbows! Great idea using the ice jig!
Thank you! I was so happy when I looked in my tackle and saw that jig. It was the smallest thing I had. And I only had one! haha
did any one else randomly open their tackle box
Watch where you step next time, bud! Them wet feet ain't no fun way to spend your day fishing. Other than that, great video! (Sorry you lost that last one)!
haha you know it! Thanks man. All good, it happens :)
How do u like that reel?
Love it!
works* keyword haha
U still catching trout brother our trout fishing is over
Yeah man! There are still some left. We have had high water so they spread out a little. Which is good.
Fish Hawk nice wish I could go after them I think they all died out now
That tiny jig pack is much cheaper on amazon
I didn't even know they sold them on Amazon. Good catch!
Fish Hawk yea they do way cheaper thats why i always look them up on ebay and amazon to catch cheaper prices

Huge rainbow? Lol thats below average here in Tennessee
It's big for West Virginia. Sorry West Virginia has smaller trout. Congrats.
Once again you’ve Out done yourself ! Can’t believe the size of those bows for that smalll a creek
haha thanks man! They were some nice ones for sure!
They were nice trout but they weren’t that big, at least compared to what we have were I live
They were bigger than average for my area. I understand some places have much bigger trout.
If you’re ever in northern Pennsylvania let me know and I’ll show you where to catch some big trout.
@@ethanfrey1543 I'm so down! haha We don't have very big trout around here. They are few and far between. Do you have an email address or instagram. I'll hit you up if I'm ever up that way.
7:36 some other kind of predator ! you mean a human lol
Mar Par LOL I meant a blue heron, osprey, raccoon, mink, otter, bear, etc. I guess human too haha
