I'm also completely confused why they put alcohol!! Alcohol does not remove any sort of glue.. (it only cleans and disinfects). so I am so confused why they did this too. Glue is usually removed with Acetone (nail varnish remover).
I wish that one day i click on one of those videos and have someone competent from england or usa to narrate and act in the video. All these indian people do is literally copy what the other indian guy did prior to them doing it so all mistakes and flaws get carried on by the next generation of indian guy who "fixes" phones. I bet this video has inspired atleast 100 indian "repairmen" and now they follow all the mistakes you are doing, as well as introducing new mistakes..
Why is there no mention that the back is glued on and the procedure should not be attempted by a DIY. No mention on how to dissolve the glue or how it is glued back on. A very disappointing video. You can either use a hairdryer or alcohol to dissolve the glue.

@@easybullet3 Alcohol will remove the glue. It really does help removing the battery fast and easy.

Do you have to own an Ove Glove to change the battery?
Hello, Matt! Or an antistatic wristband.
