    Yes, it certainly is a great disappointment to see it as it is today....
    I thought expo 88 may have helped to make it better generally by awareness but it seemed to be a precursor to what was to eventuate...
    We have lost the original tropical city outlook to be like any other city... Cavernous glass and aluminum structures....
    The entrenched JBP government , the Newman governments (council and state) all conspired with big business and big money to make more money....
