I did everything you said and plugged in my Xbox controller into the adapter. I try to play my games and it doesn’t work, it just makes me use my controller

Plug in Mouse, Keyboard and Conroller first in the adapter THAN plugin the adapter to the Xbox. This is how it works for me.

Also you might need a data sync cable if you have a regular charging cable connected from your controller to the adapter
dont turn on your controller keep it off on charging mode and it'll work
I just got one of these and it works fine, even with my 15 year old wireless usb mouse and cheapo keyboard! The mouse itself is a bit twitchy at times but nothing to bother me about. The thing that annoys me about the key bindings though is I can only bind the keys that the KX adapter uses, which means no Z key or Left Ctrl key, which is annoying and it takes time to getting used to the key binds you can use. The one major thing I would have liked is if you could use the PS4 controller at the same time for menu navigation or for when you are playing games that suit it better (instead of having to unplug it all and plug the controller back in on itr own). So far it seems £12 well spent though.
Not sure what you mean but all the usb sockets are standard type. The adapter does come with an extra adapter for the Nintendo I think.

Update on my KX Adapter.... I bought it to play Skyrim but tbh I found the PS4 controller was just as easy and more convenient to use so haven't used the adapter since I first tested it out!

you can change controller keys from ps4 settings but you can't change keyboard keys

I mean on a casual level, if you just wanna play pubs and have fun then its pretty decent but if you wanna reach apex predator then no. Ive been playing with it for months now, i get high kill/damage games here and there with it. Overall tbh, its actually pretty impressive for its price. The only fault it has for me that it turns off itself every ten minutes, then i have to press a button on it to reset it to make it work again which takes 5 seconds and u can reset it anytime and the timer until it turns off itself will also be resetted. Im not bothered by it much tho i get enough time between games to reset it.

Just touch your xbox controller often so it wont turn off. I have two controllers and one of them is broken and has headset input working. And on the other one headset input doesn't work but everything else works fine. I think that's not a problem but i guess its a little annoying. You can connect your xbox controller to your xbox directly with an usb cable and then it won't turn off after a short period of time.
War zone u don't need an adaptor. It's playable with just kbm to console
If all luck fails use a phone to talk on xbox app if you stream the phone onto xbox you can talk and you can join partys on xbox app always works
not sure if it's just for Xbox One S but once you have connected everything and the home screen pops up you can take your controller out of the adapter and power it off and you can still play with the key and mouse (:

@@sheryt7394 I play R6 Siege and Cold War and it works perfectly fine and all you need to do is adjust some settings and no there is no input delay the adapter works just fine

There should be a port on the adapter specifically for your controller if not if you have. A bluetooth controller then just plug in the adapter and use bluetooth for ur controller

I found a solucion, you need to have a on brand gaming mouse and the delay will be gone. I tired it with a razor mouse and the delay was gone.

it works... BUT NOT AS YOU EXPECT!!! the PS4 controllers are pressure-sensitive, so there is a ramp in speed (start-slower-faster-slower-stop) whereas the mouse should react to each movement precisely, instead you have to get used to this way of playing, and it will NEVER be the same as on a PC!

Apex has probably a million different option combinations and barely passes as a replacement for a PC-like experience... this thing.. this thing as 3, no jokes THREE settings, slow, medium and fast mouse response.

@@bootica6358 Also, the in-game sensitivity also impacts significantly with this adapter just like a controller. So, if u turn down the in-game sens, u will feel it lowered down.
