I'm 18 and wanted to get back into football, I was bullied out of it since I'm Polish living in England so a lot of racism was towards me when I was younger, then I did rugby for 2 years in a small team in my town but was also bullied out of that. I always dreamed of going pro, or getting close but I'm just afraid of getting bullied out again and not having the talent, skill or opportunity at this age so I don't know if its possible for me to get into it now
If you want to get good at it you have to develop a stronger mindset non of these racism bullshit you have to be strong and learn to let it all rub off your shoulder do you know how many young players go through stuff like that it's not easy but this was the path they chose and they knew it wasnt going to be easy If you work on yourself and you put in the work you will get better and your dream can become a reality
@@Beristic well I'll tell you how I got faster I did alot of jump rope and pushing high speeds on treadmills I then also trained with high resistance on my body and legs Like I ran in water in sand just something that can slow you down while keep track of the time I used to get from one end to another maybe try getting some weights you can put on your legs that will slow you down so when you've trained with them enough and you take them off you feel like you are walking on air you have to be consistent tho but don't overwork your body Of course it also helps to be lean too But honestly man you just have to find the right position and gamestyle that suits you like me for example I went from being a left winger / striker but I noticed I was too slow to make runs in behind and I wasn't the trickiest so I went down to cdm now I can defend to an extent but my coaches saw that my agility and reflexes and turning and passing are good so they pushed me up to cm / attacking mid now the way I play is I don't rely on pace to beat my opponents I just play simple I use deft touches feints and good passes And ever since that change I've been playing at my best It's all about working to find what's best for you and how you can use what you already have Some people just never get fast enough but if you can I'm rooting for you but at the end of the day you have to be consistent with the workouts I told you if you want to give them a try to see any improvements hope.i could help

I had a clear shot, took a second too long to better position the ball which gave the defender just enough time to place his foot right infront of the ball all as I swung at it. My foot stopped dead, then in the stumble I must have rolled it with inversion. It got nasty purple but thankfully no fractures.
I'm skillful. I do role on and feints more than step overs. It's more helpful when as CAM, well I'm a striker. lol you must be a amateur if your 1v1 moves are stepovers and cruyff turn. They are uneffective against silled players. The best 1v1 moves are fake shots/passes combined with a change in pace. Making the opponent believe he can get the ball and making your touch at the right time. Messi is the master of this.
