This is my next step. Moving to a solder-type breadboard seems like a good first try at making something permanent. I have way too many solderless breadboard projects just sitting in my lab. I need those breadboards back for my new projects, but I hate dismantling past projects. I just don't want to give them up. Thanks for the great video!

I have been using this technique since the 1980s. Love it that you are bringing these training skills to a new generation. Keep up the good work. PS: I now work in Hardware at a big box retialer, but have mentioned DigiKey to customers needing information on special projects.

You are just what I'm looking for. Wow! Now I don't feel so bad for dropping out of the EE program a number of decades ago. Thanks for the straightforward and clearly explained process of getting my Arduino project into a form I can actually use. You've got a new subscriber. :)

I bought custom PCBs from three companies.
    DigiReds are the best!
    Faster to arrive too!

It's a nice video, but it's a shame you didn't mention our Proto-Series of prototyping boards such as the Proto-Hald or Proto-Full, nor our Proto-Shield. All are available on DK ;)

OMG! Was watching the King's Men movie and they had a half inch by half inch PCB board with maybe 4 resistors and I said the exact same thing. That board doesn't do shiat!

Your 5 minute RUclips advertisement interrupted my viewing pleasure. To let you know I pressed the skip ad button in 0.0000023 of a second. Why a five minute advert video? Tv adverts are not even a 1 minute 30 seconds.
