I just saw this move in another video and have been working on it, I can’t seem to move my front skate… I loosened my trucks a bit but not sure if I should be lifting… even though it doesn’t look like you’re lifting any of your wheels 😅 (outdoor skating)
For the slow edges it’s best not to lift as you won’t be getting a true edge. Lean on the two outside or inside wheels. You may need to not only loosen your trucks but maybe change your cushions to softer ones so you can edge better. I have a video which explains all about adjusting your trucks.
There is no inside and outside edges for inline skates, but you can try it in a diferent way. Some movements you can only do in roller skates, that's why some people prefer to use them.
You can definitely give it a try! I feel like I need to give it a try now you’ve suggested it! Should work really well, just have to be careful not to lean too far into each edge so the wheels don’t slip out.
