    Came to see if the 6700 requires eol Resistors on SLC, glad I watched this before damaging the panel lol. Thanks man.😂

      Yeah you definitely would not want to put resistors on the slc lol

    I appreciate the effort.
    Though I believe that you should have remade the video and upload it if it works.
    No point uploading something that doesn't work which no one needs to learn.
    IMHO

    Awesome video!! Hope to see more on this. Does the transformer in that panel get hot or make a loud hum? Whats the difference between that panel and mine? Only different is the cabinet that I see.

      Yes the transformer gets pretty hot and yeah it can be pretty noisy, unfortunately I do not have this panel anymore so there probably won't be any more vids on it lol. The difference between the 75 and 6700 is first the 75 being proprietary and 2nd the amount of points. The ifp-75 can do 75 modules and 75 detectors giving a maximum device count of 150 where as the 6700 can only do 50 modules and 50 detectors giving 100 total devices. Software is exactly the same you just need a clss account to download to the ifp panels

      @@FireTech7 Thank you! Luckily I have a good friend that helps with the downloads. We recently added some sync options that I can program from the key pad but idk how to change outputs or groups.

    I want to ask , did you have ground connected on the panel ? And is it necessary just for temporary powering up to program ? I did the same thing and cut a tv wire open but it has no ground on the cable.

      Ground was connected, I think, but for small setups like this, it doesn't really matter

    Will silent knight sk pulls and sk smokes work on a silent knight ifp 50 panel

    • @FireTech7
      @FireTech7  11 месяцев назад

      Pulls yes, smokes no, panel has to be set to idp protocol if it's new enough

    I just started installing panels. Im curious , why wasn’t SLC in used ? I know you can change from class A to class B (I believe). Did you have to set your SLC to class B ?

    • @FireTech7

      Well, generally, when using class B, you'd be using the SLC out terminals. If you happened to have 2 slc Lines coming into the panel for some reason that branch off to different areas while still using class B that's when I'd probably connect that other branch to the SLC in terminals because when set to class B both those terminals operate as 1. So if you wanted to, if the panel is running class B, you could just use slc in
