  • Had an issue with some heat detectors. For sure, we had the wrong detectors in these attics but unfortunately, the SK documentation was NOT clear which led us to make the error. Honeywell, please update and clarify your documentation on paper and in the software.

    Many people ignore the environmental restrictions of their addressable devices. Are you in an area that routinely exceeds 93% humidity? It clearly says that device is restricted from being installed in that environment on the form you're holding.
    You may have to go with a analog conventional detector. If so, remember to install the module where humidity doesn't exceed 93%.

    Ever try using the resource known as "Technical Support". You could have it spelled out to you in minutes. Very few systems have field documentation that explains every nuance, and many are just plain stupid. I would expect an experienced Fire Alarm Tech to know that. Nice try though.
