Yeah that could be bad ass man because he’s got that deeper more demonic voice. He would do it but with a different twist and tone to it which would be cool
That was how I was when I did security/ barricade post for Drowning Pool/ Damageplan/ Static-X at Lee Vista Center in Oct 2004 FL. Fuck man, RIP to so many....I'm 5 years late, sorry.
You really should go see them! As soon as I turned 18, I started going to their shows and I haven't stopped since. I've been to a lot of places in the US now because of them lol.
I love sevendust cuz they dont do this crap to get famous or get attention. they dont do covers. THEYRE DETICATING TO DIMEBAG FU**ING DARRELL! theyre trying to make ppl remember what a great artist he was and how much respect they have for him!! most other bands do it just for attention and seeming cool!
damn dude that crowd was jacked as hell for 7Dust that owns. I saw them on March 27th and march 28th and will be seeing them on july 19th. sweet ass videos Denver is a loud and rowdy ass crowd for them that is tight. Love the backdrop i have that shirt with the 7d logo like that on it. I took a picture of it when i saw them at the march 28th show. Very very very nice videos all of them I favorited all of them peace and thank you
@SuperDeathMetalHead They do have a really neat old live tape called Live and Loud and they put a DVD version of it on the reissue of their first album.
Fuck yeah!! Dime will always be in my heart! The biggest musical inspiration I have known. My boys No 1 Left Standing opened this show!! Check them out!!
Not to sound like an idiot, but Sevendust should totally do studio versions of these tracks. They kick ass live!!! It kinda sucks for me cause they are my favorite band and I have never seen them live...yet.
now what I wanna see is lajon doing at least some of master of puppets with at least a little of the singing. ...i know he could do it too...or am i alone in that one?
Well that was a let down. Based on the description I expected a 'medley' of three of the greatest songs of all time, played by a great band. What I got was a far away distorted video of a disjointed riff from each. :-/
Good lord, that bassist sucks. I don't know what he's playing while they're playing "Master of Puppets," but it's not the "Master of Puppets" bassline. He just does random fast strums half the time. I know you can't really hear it because of the recording quality, but I guarantee you if you could hear just him it'd sound awful. Check him out at 2:30. There is no one way to play bass; there are many ways, but that's not one of them. The guitarists do great though.
The guitar player is super weak he couldn't even play the solo for walk lol... Don't get me wrong, I love this band but it just wouldn't be me if I wasn't hatin'....
Morgan is such a beast it’s unreal. In so many ways.
This was great.
Would have LOVED to hear Lajon sing AIC.
I've always thought this
Yeah that could be bad ass man because he’s got that deeper more demonic voice. He would do it but with a different twist and tone to it which would be cool
That would be awesome!!
3:15 - it´s great to see that even the security guard is enjoying the music
That was how I was when I did security/ barricade post for Drowning Pool/ Damageplan/ Static-X at Lee Vista Center in Oct 2004 FL. Fuck man, RIP to so many....I'm 5 years late, sorry.
@@nealdamkjer192 fuck bro you lucky fuck
just started listening to sevendust and i havent been this into a band since pantera...these guys rock hard
You really should go see them! As soon as I turned 18, I started going to their shows and I haven't stopped since. I've been to a lot of places in the US now because of them lol.
Sevendust is loud as hell. Sat a good 30 rows back at a festival and was blown away, and I like it loud!
nothing beats the resonating sound of heavy guitars and drums during a metal show at any venue. Nothing
No wonder seven dust rocks, their choice in music is amazing! The Best of all three sub genres they played IMO!
It´s amazing. I know that John said that Dime was his big inspiration,so it´s great to see him playing a tribute for Dime !
Pantera was an inspiration to these guys
John Connolly himself stated that the reason he now plays for Dean Guitars is because of Dime
Met these Guys ,The best..

Holy shit! Had no idea this ever happened. Fantastic!
Someone PRETTY PLEASE Do your MAGIC on this one!!!
7dust does AIC? YES! LOVE IT!
beautiful tribute cover medley
I love singing We Die Young! I can hit the notes. 💪
Interesting, I've never listened to them, but this is awesome, 4 of my favorite metal songs of all time tied together.
Nice! I like how they started out with Sabbath too.
What a combo \m/
@SuperDeathMetalHead They do have a really neat old live tape called Live and Loud and they put a DVD version of it on the reissue of their first album.
Why only those three traxks mentioned when they start off with the Black Sabbath riff? The medly is Black Sabbath/Master etc...
Exacly.
Im loving the security guy on the left at 3:15 even he cant resist the power of a pantera song
Fuck yeah!! Dime will always be in my heart! The biggest musical inspiration I have known.
My boys No 1 Left Standing opened this show!! Check them out!!
Gunnyrba, you should see them live... they do an awesome live show.
This is pretty badass.
that beginning piece they did is from the tune black sabbath by black sabbath off their first album.
Fassster wee runnn!!
Nice
the first minuet is a half cover half improv version of the song black sabbath by black sabbath
yep. They totally open it up with Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath. Too awesome.
I want to hear John play that full Pantera song, he was ripping it
Ninth Cinema Down I
Opening riff is Black Sabbath, Black Sabbath. Well done gents. RIP Dime.
This was in Denver at the Gothic Theater
I was supposed to be at the Boise show...so sad I missed it :(
They have a lot of live footage on the Retrospective DVD.
You are correct. As a Black Sabbath fan I should have known better. Thank you
Not to sound like an idiot, but Sevendust should totally do studio versions of these tracks. They kick ass live!!! It kinda sucks for me cause they are my favorite band and I have never seen them live...yet.
forgot to include the song black sabbath by black sabbath in your title. Still very cool!
that intro is black sabbath
I heard the black sabbath bit in the intro
@SuperDeathMetalHead southside double wide - released 2003
The first song is a cover of "Black Sabbath."
Shouldnt this be called the Cliff/Dimebag/Layne tribute???? awesome stuff!!
True
Is this from the Big Easy in Boise? I swear it is- if not they did it note for note in Boise. Lost my voice for a week because of this!
the intro is black sabbath from black sabbath
Dude is way better than Lars
@ermonski, thank you.
@TheNastyTable damn right nobody can resist pantera:)
and sabbath!
@xxtribaleuphorixx When I saw them, I flipped when they played this...
i'm glad some one noticed it haha
Starting off with Iron Man ftw~
no... he said, "This is dedicated to Dimebag Darrell, ya'll make some fucking noise!"
Medley starts with Black Sabbath - change your title to include that
Dedicates song to Dimebag, plays Alice in Chains
We Die Young, got it ? gosh
Alice in Chains and Pantera were friends.
your shitty phone cant handle the metal !!!! jk thnx for the upload 7Dust rox
now what I wanna see is lajon doing at least some of master of puppets with at least a little of the singing. ...i know he could do it too...or am i alone in that one?
nobody recognizes the very beginning? an old sabbath tune called black sabbath lol
You forgot Black Sabbath was in there too
black Sabbath???
they shouldve put black sabbath in the name of the video too
That's not Iron Man, that's Black Sabbath.
Try Drop B.
ffwd to 1:50 to get to the shit.
2 dislikes? WTF?
personally, i think the best master of puppets cover was done by either Wes Borland, or Primus...
I say Primus. that was badass
SneakyChrisCovers trivium did a really good one
Gotta love les claypool
Well that was a let down. Based on the description I expected a 'medley' of three of the greatest songs of all time, played by a great band. What I got was a far away distorted video of a disjointed riff from each. :-/
Metallica
Pantera
\m/
Sevendust
Black Sabbath?!
Alice In Chains?

Bassman acts Like a fool... Annoying guy..

That bass player isnt even playing
Are you an idiot? Wait. Let me answer that. Ummmmmm....................yes!
He is wearing a fedora, a sleeveless flannel shirt and playing a les Paul base at his kneecap, I agree
