Really enjoying these shows. This is number 5 for me. There are several ways to figure out where the other dollar went. Some would say because of inflation that dollar doesn’t go as far as it used to. If’n each dollar lost 20%, therein is the extra dollar. But on the other hand, one might say there is a one dollar handling fee. But my guess is there is a little known equation that is used to figure out financial matters such as this. For us common folks, it would take an act of Congress to get this equation. That is because it is the same equation that is used by the IRS, the government, and investment companies that make us all wonder, ( With all the money I’ve paid in, where did it all go?)

So here's the answer to the hotel riddle. It's a trick question. The 2 dollars that the boy kept is part of the 27, so you don't need to add 2 to 27. The 3 dollars they got back is what you add to 27. 27+3=30. God bless y'all
