Fair enough. I found no issues with the liner and strap quality of the helmet personally so I cannot comment to much on that point but Airoh are pretty well known for premium helmets. If you go for the Aviator, I hope you enjoy it!
as far as i know the amss is designed to take hits that would rotate your head. it seperates the inner and outer shell, which lets you rotate your head more freely when taking an impact. taking a straight hit is just a side asset.
Hey there and thanks for the comment! That's correct, there's an elastomer layer between the two shells so that the outer will take some of the rotational force before the rest of your head. But for a straight hit it will also help by increasing the time it takes the impact to reach. What do you think of the Aviator 2.3 AMS?

The Aviator 2.3 is ECE 22.05 certified, so it can be used on roads. However, it won't be ideal for full street riding. What drew you to the Aviator 2.3?

The small "peak" is actually an extension for the pre- installed one, for muddy or rainy race conditions.

This is the best helmet outhere... forget fox shoei etc. If you want a good helmet buy this or 2.1 or 2.2.

Just the light weight and it fits my enduro moped’s paint job I also find it useful that I can wash the inside layers so it won’t stink.
