While this genre doesn't really interest me and I'm focused on niche, I absolutely love DB! I consider it the best scent of this genre. It will always be in my collection.
Cmon bro saying its $5 fragrance is a reach lol. Its a nice fresh smelling scent. Nothing spectacular or even great smell wise. But its smell good to the general public. Plenty of fellas at my office wear this scent and the ladies go crazy over it. I say for the discounted price i recommend it, but it does not smell better than Bleu or Sauvage imo.
I liked this one because it smelled like , i forget, its fresh but it has some kind of heart of i dunno something like boss bottled or tommy hillfiger .. That sweet apple-ish kind of vibe mixed in with the freshness.. Nothing super special but pretty nice for that class of scents. great and honest review
I went to try a few fragrances at the store today including Dylan Blue. Very strong attack from the get go. I could pick it up a mile away compared with the YSL and Armani I tried right after. Not a bad scent but it is own category for sure.
Staticky, yes! Reminded me of a cheap, unbroken in scratchy denim. Very uncomfortable. I’d be very interested in some good incense and patchouli fragrances
Yay my comment got featured 🙌 and we both gave it a 4/10, and yes i still think its a musty thick mess, it actually reminds me of when girls wear thick heavy cheap vanilla perfumes in the high humid summers and it becomes way too cloying and almost turns sour.
I bought this last year and wore it twice, I'm a niche fan through and through...this ain't all that bad.. I have a bunch of $200-$300 bottles...nothing wrong with a few cheapies in the collection....can't wear fly shit all the time...lol When I take a shower in the evening..I spray Cool Water Intense or Eternity Parfum ...instead off Kilian , Parfums De Marly, YSL Caftan or Tuxedo, Caban for example.
Even as a safe scent, the OG pour homme is much better. Own and enjoy both OG and Oud Noir. Oud Noir is a bit too thin to my liking, compared to Oud Wood or Thameen Carved Oud. But those are indeed the better Versace.
I feel like fragrance reviewers like to dislike popular fragrance as a measure of their credential. I think its an easy dumb reach if u going out to store or running errands.
Your reviews are definitely the most thorough and informative ones I see on RUclips.. Very good buddy.. Still murdering sayings tho buddy. Its a pinch of salt and a leg to stand on.. 😁Sorry but it kills me buddy.. 👍
When one googles the word 'boring' and then clicks images, I am pretty sure a picture of Alberto Morillas comes up surrounded by bottles of his fragrance creations. Yep...I said it. That's not to impugn him as a perfumer at all though...he is obviously brilliant at creating standard non-challenging fragrances that sell like hot cakes. Good for him and the society at large that simply like to thrown on a cologne.
Enjoyed this review, I also thought this scent was pretty poor when I sniffed it. A shame, it's the only scent in Versace's men's lineup that I dislike.
I have it. I like it. Do I love it? No but I do like it. I simply disagree with you along with many others apparently. Is it a breakthrough scent, No. Is it a good blue scent? Absolutely. I respect your opinion but my nose 👃 simply disagrees with your nose 👃. I actually prefer it to Bleu de Chanel. I am sure frag snobs will agree with you but the average person on the street will like this scent. They may not love it, but they will certainly like it. $50-$60 for a 100 ml bottle at discounters is a bargain. IMPO 😃
can we pin this comment and come back to it in a few years? This man has not gone through the sport craze, the black craze, the intense craze, the ... you get the point.
Great video Marc, I was going to get a small bottle to test out like yourself, but I think I will invest the money elsewhere. I hate the fruity accord that you cant tell what they are, find that note in many cheap frags. Shame as I do like Versace, but like many designers now, going down a sloppy slope, even Dior are going downhill fast. Big shame, hope in future things pick up again but can not see it being anytime soon.
lmao @ grape juice vs. purple drank , I think its ok. picked up a 100 ml bottle for $20 so it was a pretty good dumb reach kinda thing for the price, when i smelt it for the first time in the store it was a hard pass for me ,kinda redundant because i had sauvage, but for $20 i scooped it anyway
Do you have a 2019 batch of Dylan Blue? I've been trying to research and I've heard that the 2018 and 2019 batches perform much weaker than the 2016 and 2017 batches.
@@scottpiper213 Sorry, it was intended for us, dumb fragrance fans and not for a highly intelligent person like you! I am surprised you did not give Marc any hard time: how could he be reviewing fragrances in such times!!! You need more "grips" than I do, MATE!
I think these are selling well only because they fit in the common impression of what a “cologne” smells like. But for us a fragrance can mean Leather Oud or Xerjoff Nio. It can be anything and it’s essentially nothing. These blue trashes are just not for us.
I was like hey I’m going to find a place and check out this fragrance. On paper, it’s alright. Decided to put it on my skin. Smells synthetic and horribly put together. Definitely not a great flanker. The pour homme was a masterpiece, this Dylan blue needs to be off the shelf.
Not my favorite from a house that I pretty much love all releases from. It doesn’t smell horrible I’d just rather wear any other “blue” fragrance before DB. It’s very sharp to my nose with the citrus and incense
Oh God finally someone who don't like DB on youtube. Opening literally gives headache to me. Even bad performance on my skin. Obviously it's not just about me, I'm peaceful now. 💁🏻♂️
I'm not a fan of blue fragrances but Dylan Blue is a lot better than this review suggests and certainly doesn't smell like a 5 dollar shower gel.......Bleu de chanel wins that award.
It's funny but those canadians like to bring people only negative instead of possitive. Have no idea why, but in fragcom only canadians talking bad about fragraNces, no one else does. Mark, Eugene, Christo etc etc etc. Maybe they are so haters because there's too cold, I don't know)
I've always prescribed to be a reviewer. So if you go on amazon, you go on any reviewer platform you get good and bad and in the middle. So yes their will be reviews on my channel that aren't negative but pointing out things I believe the brand can improve. This scent was imo a marketing ploy and at this price point I (imo) believe you can get much better.
Out of touch bruh. You're an O.G along with Tim and Brandon, but seems like maybe your nose isn't in tune anymore. Regardless stick with your favorites from the 90's and 00's, can hate on liking what you like.
not out of touch, perhaps a little more mature for my age. Not stuck in the 90's, they are plenty of great designer releases in the game however you need to search around the hype and commercials to find the really good ones.
While this genre doesn't really interest me and I'm focused on niche, I absolutely love DB! I consider it the best scent of this genre. It will always be in my collection.
28 minute take down of Dylan Blue: popcorn at the ready. The Boss is laying the smack down!
Guru drops the 🔨!!
My Wife actually enjoys it. That’s why I wear it. Just getting out of work and needed to hear your 💯!
Thanks for saving me the blind buy. Awesome dissection as always
I sold my bottle, but It got me alot of compliments. I never loved it either and I love that you said we need to click or connect with our fragrances.
Thanks for the review Marc! Please review more of the mainstreams frags. Although I do like most of them, I still enjoying your opinion! Lol
Oi, here we go!!

Versace Dylan Blue I like I wear it occasionally but it is my favorite 🤷🏾♂️
Totally agree on this one, I'm afraid it gives me a nose ache. Awesome honest review.
Hey Marc, so it appears you’re not much into blue scents, but do you have one that you like?
Staticky, yes! Reminded me of a cheap, unbroken in scratchy denim. Very uncomfortable. I’d be very interested in some good incense and patchouli fragrances
Yay my comment got featured 🙌 and we both gave it a 4/10, and yes i still think its a musty thick mess, it actually reminds me of when girls wear thick heavy cheap vanilla perfumes in the high humid summers and it becomes way too cloying and almost turns sour.
Calling the opening static-y is the best description I’ve heard. I always said scratchy. But I like static-y better.
I bought this last year and wore it twice, I'm a niche fan through and through...this ain't all that bad.. personally I really like it, one of my favorite blue fragrances considering the price.
Get the popcorn ready
Edit: Bleu de chanel, ADG profumo, Eau Sauvage, Versace Man Eau Fraiche...bashed a few here Marc, Good Job!
its very nice, the performance its aceptable ,something synthetic, ladies love it.
Fabulous review as always!
I actually sold my bottle of this. The first and one of the only fragrances I've ever sold. So average that it's below average
Even as a safe scent, the OG pour homme is much better. Own and enjoy both OG and Oud Noir. Oud Noir is a bit too thin to my liking, compared to Oud Wood or Thameen Carved Oud. But those are indeed the better Versace.
most reviewers are just parroting each other. you however are very original. always stay true since 2009.
I feel like fragrance reviewers like to dislike popular fragrance as a measure of their credential. I think its an easy dumb reach if u going out to store or running errands.
11 years in on youtube, I don't have to prove anything. My credentials are already secured. I am not scared to pan a popular fragrance tho.
Your reviews are definitely the most thorough and informative ones I see on RUclips.. Very good buddy.. Still murdering sayings tho buddy. Its a pinch of salt and a leg to stand on.. 😁Sorry but it kills me buddy.. 👍
Definitely looking for more reviews of mainstream designer’s releases by you!
always like to switch things up once and a while

Great take on another blue scent out of so so so many. Lol. You should do an 80s powerhouse video. Lapidus Pour Homme!??

It's because he doen't like it, he just like shitting on fragrances like his buddy Eugene
nah however I do like variety on my channel, good and bad with different price points and popularity.
Dylan Blue isn’t that bad. Ysl Y edp is my fav “blue” fragrance tho by far
Blue craze ain’t dying anytime soon
can we pin this comment and come back to it in a few years? This man has not gone through the sport craze, the black craze, the intense craze, the ... you get the point.
robes08 yes please. Let’s pin it!

Dylan Blue is good. Simple as that.
I agree with you. It is awful, I do prefer Dior Sauvage, cauze the base I way better.
Do you have a 2019 batch of Dylan Blue? I've been trying to research and I've heard that the 2018 and 2019 batches perform much weaker than the 2016 and 2017 batches.
It would be nice to see your take on Versace man in purple bottle....regards bro
He did review it.search by versace man robes08
Marc, some of your reviews deadlier than COVID-19!!! 100% agree. It is a cheapened copycat of the big guns... :(
@@scottpiper213 Sorry, it was intended for us, dumb fragrance fans and not for a highly intelligent person like you! I am surprised you did not give Marc any hard time: how could he be reviewing fragrances in such times!!! You need more "grips" than I do, MATE!
A masterpiece.
You may have forgotten, you can buy Versace at Walmart

Agreed on all fronts. It's bad

I hate it for me blue frags are blv bvlgari and eau blue by issey miyake.
Not a fan of Dylan Blue either. ADG Profumo is my favorite of the bunch followed by BdC EDP.
100%
@@mrfragranceparis I like and own Office as well. To be honest I prefer almost every other "blue" frag on the market over Dylan Blue..
Great review and I enjoyed it and i like this fragrance I give it a eight out of ten and have a blessed day
I got a full bottle to trade
Oh God finally someone who don't like DB on youtube. Opening literally gives headache to me. Even bad performance on my skin. Obviously it's not just about me, I'm peaceful now. 💁🏻♂️

they both can win that award imo.
Taking no prisoners!!!
Thank you for putting it out of its misery, Marc.
i dont expect anything from morillas creations 🤪
5:50 you hesitated to spray that bullshit at us LOL
100
🕺🏻
Quack!
First 1 minute says it all then? Lol
so... don't buy Dylan Blue, buy Jaguar Pace for less if you want something similar :D
Sotd L'envol
You are too much of a pro
"You already know better" 😂
I don’t like Dylan Blue either. Never did, no matter how much FragComm pushed it.
Versace: blue der Chanel and sauvage sell Well lets Copy that asap 🥴🥴🥴
Eugenious burned it 😅👌🏽
This stuff is just yuk! Its in the burn with a torch until it dies pile 🤷♂️
Fatality!!!
If you don't like it why this review
It's funny but those canadians like to bring people only negative instead of possitive. Have no idea why, but in fragcom only canadians talking bad about fragraNces, no one else does. Mark, Eugene, Christo etc etc etc. Maybe they are so haters because there's too cold, I don't know)

Garbage fragrance. Great review, Marc.
