    Very interesting call to make the J4-J5 linkage a cantilever instead of fully supporting it.
    It is cool that this will enable you to spin J5 in 360° and probably save you some weight, but is the price of less rigidity and strength worth it?
    Also, I would assume that mounting anything large like a gripper to the end of arm will prevent the full 360 capability of J5.

      Hey! J5 was able to spin 360 in theory but you have wires so they would tangle. And it was the biggest weak spot there is an image on Instagram where the robot hit me and forearm part just snapped

      I gotta say it does look very futuristic to have it designed like that. But I'm a guy who likes to design a lot of 3d printed stuff too so the transition to the long flat section on J5 with no radius really stuck out to me. (And from highschool robotics, I built a phobia for cantilevers from all my failures)
      Also, it's really cool to see you guys building all these awesome robots, and responding to the community. Mad respect.

      @@source-robotics Also, I had absolutely no idea of getting my own robot arm, but over the course of the last 2 days, I discovered the Annin Robotics AR4 Mk2 and impulse bought it. 😅
      So I hope to join you in developing really cool stuff pretty soon. 😸

      Thanks for your answer! This is super interesting! I've got a few more questions though... How do you communicate with the robot? Do you directly send the commands to the motors or is there an intermediate board (e.g. Raspberry pi)? And do you use gcode or a custom protocol?
