I enjoyed this video of Quarr Abbey old and new. Father Gregory was a novice when I first saw him in 1968. I was a postulant for a period in 1971.

Thank you! I am glad you liked the video. Father Gregory has been very kind to me and extremely supportive with me making this video. He is certainly quite knowledgable now from our conversations haha. We have had many conversations off of the camera as well and I have learned alot from him c:

Thank you very much!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
Generally my content will have a similar structure but the topics will vary a little. But generally, I want to make videos on tourism with a focus on history, food and culture. I am leaving for China in less than 2 weeks so I can guarantee you once I'm able to travel a bit, there will definitely be plenty of history-focused videos there too over the coming months!!
PS: I also uploaded a new video today which I recorded with my new camera which is much better than my old one. feel free to check it out c: It was meant to be focused on a historical abandoned tunnel.. but we never found it lol. We did find some awesome views from my home island though c:

Thank you hugely to Father Gregory. I did film this video on my Potato camera, so I worked very hard to get lots of still shots too and artificial movement to cover up the potatoeyness. I would love to revisit the abbey one day and make an updated version of this video with better camera get in a few years time c:
