Do you ever see trees and aland and then look at your phone go like "wow, this really came out of there?" its amazing how we've managed to turn nature into these electronics. its just amazing.

To be honest OLED screens should be cheaper than TFT as it has only one glass, no external backlight, aluminium plates and etc.

No, you're not being "honest"🤭 OLED material is, still, expensive to manufacture, and it's not only about "quantiiy of material being used", since the OLED material is expensive to make. HD OLED screens can be "cheaper" to produce, but FHD, QuadHD or UHD screens are cheaper to produce with Liquid Crystal materials. The Highend LTPO OLED used in highend samgung phones are expansive to produce, when compared to produce the highend IPS LCD DolbyVision Capable of the Poco X4 GT.

REWA Thanks for the presentation! I want to see more of this mobile electronics process! 👍 From my experience, TFT screens are thicker than AMOLED and the problem with Samsung is that the frame is also made to the nearest millimeter and then there is a problem with assembly. These are my experiences. Nice aftermarket but I call it fake! 😉

      Oled has a deep black

    • @TechyGodwin

Plus no separate backlight in oled i guess. In oled the pixel light up individually.

OLED is thin, has no backlight(true blacks by the pixels turning off) and can be made flexible because of the name Organic Light Emitting Diode(if made to flex, only SOFT OLED can flex, Hard OLED cant flex afaik)

Too many samsung phones not getting repaired because screens are too expensive.

They should honestly show these in schools so kids value their displays. And not throw them out as soon as just the glass is broken. Or in general that they know how much tech is just in the display itself.
