Yh Gav I would recommend taking Heat, there are some tanks u will face where it is required; churhhill GC etc. So @ 3:30, when facing sherman 75,german 50mm, angling can help (but ur barrel is exposed and the cheek of the turret become easy to pen), a sacrifice to make in the hopes ur opponent don't know. But yh, @ 3:30 you shoulda backed away, tanks with long reload often requires tactical retreats
air RB is super boring. I get no dopamine playing there even at mid/high tier, like 8.7. On the other hand, using a plane on ground RB is actually fun air arcade is always fun. 10+ kills every match, lots of AI kills, good RP AND it's the best way to grind crew experience. The SL multiplier is gutted, but still gives ~50k SL per match. air sim is so good tho... it's relaxing, like playing minecraft or something and a great way to spade planes or research other planes, but i'd recommend playing only at 4.0 and above. It's like playing PvE most of the time, doing objectives, launching torpedoes, bombing bases, destroying bombers and fighters. Super fun, but takes a while to tune your controls, but once you fix that in a way that you like, it's really good. There are some tutorials on how to fly with kb+mouse and what to change on your controls
Hey if yo have like 6.7 italy (i dont think you have) use the L3 but a person in a squad drags you to 6.7 and the you just goof around because... sometimes you get accepted as a member of both teams
AAAND, I cant wait to see you in the SU 152, more than the KV 2, ISU 152 with the DShK will make you happy, another three things combo with the ISU 152: Armor, 152mm Main gun, and MACHINE GUN
Wait till you get get the low tier t-80 and play it at its own tier… it’s either unkillable or you die To a puma or some dumb bs but makes an amazing ambush tank… also the first il2 you unlock is extremely op for its br and can fly without a part of its tail and wing and it’s 20mm is evil… the yaks are evil but the lagg on snow maps is straight evil
Yeah I used to lean more towards HEAT too but the HEAT for this thing feels completely irrelevant. The HE round is so explosive that it overpressures everything at it’s BR anyway so penetration just isn’t required

this thing was one of the tanks i had for the 2.7 grind and omg it's fucking nasty! i played a game in my old laptop to test how my old laptop would play with the settings and it was so nasty. it should be on my channel as well if ya wanna look at it XD

Is1 is great no idea what kind of skill issue you have for it to be bad, it's great at 5.7, good armour good gun and alright reload

The T-34-85 is one of the most consistent and is debatably the best 5.7 medium. It's actually better than you think obviously.
