- On this week's episode we headed up to the famous Little Bay De Noc to fish for GIANT late ice walleyes! The bite window is extremely short up here, lasting anywhere from the first and last hour to maybe only 15 minutes! When you are fishing for huge fish it is really worth it to wait all day for that bite!

Dumb question, but you mentioned using an 8-10 ft leader of fluorocarbon. I've never used a leader before but always heard of guys doing it. How do you tie that on your main line? Thank you, and awesome video!

What date was this filmed?
Any suggestions as to a good place to stay on Little Bay Denoc? Gonna plan a week long trip for next Ice season, probably in February.
I live on Little Bay DeNoc and know those local guys on this episode. I also fish with one of them. A few of my friends target big eyes and it's hit or miss. Early ice at the head of the bay is good then further south towards big water as the season progresses.

What brand of underwater camera is that? That footage in the dark, just before the 16:00 mark was super clear.
We use a combination of the Aqua-Vu underwater cameras and Go Pros when we film underwater

Hey I leave for work in sturgeon bay for 3 weeks, an you go out in my zone in first portion. Was hot for me also earlier in season. The golden beauty’s are my fav. Tight lines fish brother. Maybe next year I’ll run across ya there or at johns shop......
