"From the shop of Jeremy Smith, that's a prototype weighted double-looped wire shaft that allows you to center balance a soft plastic lure." Jeff Simpson
St Croix… your rods are too short and a little weak in the action for our big Canadian walleyes. I loved your rods at one point but Frostbite has nailed the Canadian ice fishing market perfectly.
I wouldn't give Peric a wooden nickel. Has anyone that dealt with him ever had anything good to say? Frostbite is known for lack of quality control issues and very poor customer service. Plenty of great rod makers to choose from that are a better value. Tuned Up Customs, JT, Mags, Thorne Bros., Elliot, 365 rods, Chris Stanton the list goes on.
It kind of ticks me off when people like me spend thousands of dollars , lots of time , or cannot afford to go to these big lakes to chase these eyes , only to sit here and watch you throw them back down the hole! I love to fish and I catch fish to eat them! I realize it is the " in thing " to do now , let everything go. But when I fish I keep what I catch unless it's too small. Big fish are great to eat too. I fish mainly a small water shed and have a 33 ich walleye on my wall from there. These fish have had a lot of pressure in the last two years and have seen every lure known to man! Which is why I partly think you pros make it popular to throw fish back, so we buy more lures . There are two state records in our shed project , if I caught one of those now that may be one I'd throw back or one of the thirty plus pound pike....only because they made it that long , why not.
but unfortunately way too many people keep fish that dont ever get eaten. way better to let them live than to sit in a freezer for a year then go to waste. if you fish for fun and/or food thats awesome but *it ticks me off seeing people who feel they need to get their moneys worth out of a fishery.* dont invest in gear than hold a grudge on the fish for it. ppl can buy fish instead and skip the heartache. ive seen guys go with guides who feel they need to keep everything for the freezer to get their moneys worth. sucks the joy right out of it. tight lines lady hawk.
Jake the big Walters definitely love the moldy fruit.
Great vid! Love how you guys do these gear walk-throughs! The daiwa revros is the best budget spinning reel you can get IMO
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
What kind of rig does Jeff Simpson have tied on? The swimbait...is that a homemade rig or can you buy them?

How do you get the Mega Live on your TV in your wheel house? Are you using the the Helix?
You need an Apex unit to connect to TV
@@NickLindnerthank you! I figured that was the case just want to check if there was a way with the Helix model.
@@jeffalmanza439 I wish! Unfortunately, no HDMI OUT on the helix units.

How does the pros throwing fish back make it so you buy more lures? I’m confused
