Great memories of Neil, so sad that this clever man has passed on. He brought so much joy to other people with that car, not least myself. I had the privilege that day to take Neil out on track in his beloved Mk2 and drive it at speed around Castle Combe. I was so honoured that he trusted me his wonderful creation. RIP my friend the Jaguar community will miss you.
I had the pleasure of seeing the box of bits on my grandparents garage floor and watched it's development in those 8 years, to become the beauty it is.. Well done Dad.. Proud Daughter xx.
Well shoot, I wanted to see the interior and all the details! It would be a dream daily driver, a beautiful exterior with all the modern driving and interior comforts!
This is a bit over the top, but I knew a German guy in Australia who had a successful business putting small block Ford V8s tied to Toyota Celica transmissions into early Jags. And Valiant/Chrysler slant 6s into old Mercs.
Great effort , some purists might not agree , but for utility/functionality some changes are fine imho , this is not a museum piece that is only looked at & never used , how many purists can put their hand up for using a 12v alternator neg earth on some of their cars ? or sneak in a power steering unit here & there ?
Basically, come on people talk without using the word basically, can you do it ? C'Mon children how many times does he say Basically ?2 mins in and I count 4. I am a Half purist, I like it but the wheel arches could have been done better.

That is what a modern Jag should look like from the outside (XJR is ok, and with 4 wheel drive would be sold in Americas really well).
Your Dad was a genius , what a skilful build
Should have shown more of the car

This car is stunning and inspired me to buy a MK2 of my own. Love it! Thanks for sharing Neil.
Wonderful to see you interviewed by the brilliant Wayne Scott and all the praise that is heaped on you is so well deserved mate!!
A few years back I followed this around Castle Combe for a few laps in my XKR on a JEC track day.
Love this ! I’ve always wanted to convert a Jag Mk2. Amazing job. Would have liked to have seen more of the interior.
Had the pleasure of being taken to my school prom in this amazing car. Thank you Neil!
I have seen a MkII at Tangmere Wings & Wheels day which had a V8 from a XKR installed along with the entire interior. It looked sensational.
Love what has been done with the car a la BEACHAM...Beautiful!!!!!!
Credit to Neil. Great fun.
Congratulations! Absolutely gorgeous car.

Sadly many good Jaguar mk2s are now very expensive but the Jaguar XK8 and XKrs are still good value and will become classics.
that is magnificent :)
The original getaway car Mk2 Jaguar 🇬🇧
Congratulations, it looks awesome. I am sure that this car cost a fortune !!

Di you ever actually show the car
It will be at the Silverstone classic :) It does get shown indeed
What size of wheels are they?? Beatiful car! Congrats!
The best MK2's are the standard or Coombes modified one's.
Love the original concept Jesus christ
Who owns the car now since this man has passed away wonder what it’s worth
The flared arches don’t look right, they look too boy racer. It’s a modern day hot rod, but do something about those fenders.
I totally agree. I really messed up the graceful lines.
Those wheel arches.. 🤮

Sounds like you're a pedant, basically.
