    Love watching your videos. I have found if a trim unravels just put a tiny bit of white glue on the end then press together between your fingers. It dries clear and you have a clean finish.

    On you Tim Holtz board, the 14 inch marks go all the way across the bottom of the board. If I need it I have been known to turn it upside because sometimes reading the #s upside down is better than having to do the extra math of that zero in the middle. Haha.

      Also the one side of your ruler tool from Tim is for cutting and the other side is for using a pen against. I think you using the wrong side and that’s why u had trouble cutting

     I love, love, love learning from you! I've been wondering about sealing: do you use the Liquitex gel gloss and varnish always to seal a journal cover? Do you use it to seal your file folder covers as well as covers made of Kraft tex, and do you use it on the outside and the inside?

    • @delygirl1961
      @delygirl1961  4 года назад +1

      Just the outside, and I will use the gel or mod podge

    Wow loved watching u create this beautiful cover! I bought some kraftex but a bit shy about using it because I have gluing issues lol! Just wondering if you seal the paint on the cover or just the paper?

    • @delygirl1961
      @delygirl1961  5 лет назад +1

      Both, I use Liquitex gel gloss & varnish to seal

    Cheryl I love your tutorials!! I have a question. I watched an older video where you used a second piece of kraft-tex in the spine and here you didn't. Do you notice a difference doing just the single layer of kraft-tex?

    • @delygirl1961
      @delygirl1961  4 года назад

      MyScrapYard not really as I usually put a strip of card stock along the spine on the inside

    Do you have a video on how to print these images?

    • @delygirl1961
      @delygirl1961  5 лет назад

      Not sure what you mean. I created this kit, and sell it in my online store. When you purchase the file, you save it to your computer, and then you can print them out on 8.5x11 inch paper. I do suggest printing them on a matte photo paper. I use a 45 lb weight from Hewlett Packard

      Yes, I pretty much sell all of my journals. There will be a flip through video, and when you see that you will know it is in the store.

    Just FYI a rotary cutter is much easier to use and you don’t have to press as hard. I love watching you.

    I'm new to this but would love to make some journals. You spoke of stitching? Are you sewing on the paper page? Or is it a fabric page? Thank you and loved your video.

    • @delygirl1961
      @delygirl1961  5 лет назад

      I do sometimes sew on the paper, and sometimes sew trim on to the pages
