I wanted a new Polo but got a second hand one because the new Polo isn't gonna come and the Altroz was not upto the mark.

Instead of giving head up display , passanger request sensor , auto dimming irvm , Suzuki can give rear arm rest , auto wipers , cooled glove box , ventilated seats and also steering mounted instrument cluster . Actually at this price point they should give all the features along with existing feature. 16 lakh for a hatchback( I call it hatchback not a cross over suv ) . It's too overpriced .

Idk why but I think Maruti Suzuki Deserves some appreciation for being a Brand who's trying their level best to not switch to Electric unlike other brands... They are trying their level best to get good fuel efficiency numbers to attract Indian Consumers... I think we are not more a country when ppl used to buy a car for fun, performance or like a little connection with it... Cars have become gadgets to ppl and it's something that's seen as a status symbol which makes it harder to cater the enthusiasts coz it's a niche market now... Everyone wants a big box on 4 wheels which is easy to maintain & run... Then we sedans and hatchback dying a slow death!
No matter if Maruti dips the performance i would still appreciate them for not going electric coz I don't think there's anything like a EV... It's electric appliance just like any other thing in ur home.

In this price point the vehicle could be with more modern features like Electronic adjustable seat, Electronic hand break, sunroof, more Modern arm rest and centre console.

Bloody taxes are making the car manufacturers to go this route. ex-showroom price = manufacturing price+14%CGST+14%SGST+17% CESS, and on top of that 17% Road tax on ex-showroom. So, they can't produce a good car with safety and all features within budget because of these taxes. So, they are going with these measures.
