I used to play this and other games with my late best friend and my brother, who moved away got married and got kinda distant right after he finished high school. I stopped playing multiplayer games for a while and that was like a reflection of my outer world as I was on single player mode in real life as well. Dealing with a breakup that took forever to heal from, I focused only on my daughter, my work, and nothing else. Many friends moved away, my cousin took his own life, and after a while it was just me and her. As she got older I showed her video games and we eventually began playing minecraft and other multiplayer games together. She is now with her mother in another state and it hasn't been the easiest thing for me to deal with. We still find time to play video games together though.
As long as you're alive to keep making memories, you should do just that. Cherish the ones you have sure, but keep making new ones until you can't anymore. Otherwise what's the point if we're gonna just have a few good years and then sit around longing for something exactly like those times again never allowing ourselves the chance to experience anything as awesome ever again?

I've been through some issues I thought would be the end of me, but I kept going because I knew it wouldn't last forever, and I would be ok again. And I haven't quite gotten to where I want to be, but things are definitely far better than they were before. You can get through this too buddy.
