I like the idea of attaching the castings to foam core - that's a great alternative to cementing cardboard between the walls! I assume you've use high-temp glue in your gun, correct?
Great build Steve. The weathering and how to on lettering buildings was outstanding so where the results. Your build definitely should be one of the finalists in the contest. Good luck.
Steve, fantastic job building this large industrial building. I purchased my first Downtown Deco kit a few months ago and hope to achieve similar results on a smaller scale. Frank
Thanks for the how to. Would love to learn more about you build these buildings, do the scenery, etc...you should consider making a step by step book (similar to how Kalmbach did a detailing cars/locomotives book with Pelle Soeborg) if shooting all of these videos is too much work. Maybe Kalmbach would publish you. One quick question, why did you epoxy the wall sections together, but only hot glue the wall sections to the foamboard instead of epoxy? Is epoxy overkill for that? Look forward to seeing more regardless if its in a book or video. It will make it easier for me to try my hand at this when I get the time.

Yes, a standard hot glue gun is used.
