I can't deny how intelligent Barbie Forteza is. She answered all of the questions adequately. David Licauco is such a cutie; you can really tell that he's kind of nervous, though he answered all the questions smartly. I love them both💙💜

There really is something about Ms. Barbie Forteza that makes her still relevant today, its because first, she's an incredibly great actress. Second, she's very smart and intelligent, the way she speaks its so charismatic, she's very informative and pleasant to hear. Third, because she truly is a very humble and down to earth woman, she knows how to respect others, and she is very considerate and a good company. Tbh, there are so many things I wanna add up, since she is so much MORE!

I have watched almost all love teams that had risen since the 2000s when acting those actors do really have some chemistry... but barbie and david just sitting there were already oozing with chemistry. It's rare to see actors that are well matched that even not acting they have that kilig factor.

I try to watch this every night. I feel this is a well-made pinoy teleserye which comes by not too often. Very smart to have Noli Me Tangere incorporate to the story. It’s a good break from the usual dramas of sampalan, kidnapping, infidelity or “who was the mother or father of this child” kind of teleseryes. Great job, GMA!! Barbie is so smart and the way she answer the question is so detailed, and she's well spoken. Masasabi mo talagang experienced siya. Doon sa question na kung papapiliin sila between two period, I think mayroon pading ibang taong nangmamaliit sa mga babae up until now. Mas malala nga lang noon na konting kibot na mali sa mga mata nila ay makakatanggap sila ng parusa o pangungutya. May ibang nang-ku-kuwestiyon padin sa kakayahan ng mga babae ngayon, and those people are the one who's building a wall against women to achieve their dreams.
“It's not our gender that gives us limitations upon doing something or achieving something, it's the people around us who's putting a barrier so that we can't achieve our dreams or goals, and then blame us afterwards. Yung iba tingin sa atin mga breeder lang, na dapat nasa bahay lang, mag-aalaga lang ng anak at wala ng ibang pwedeng gawin, maghintay sa asawa pag-uwi at pagsilbihan. This is what I hate in this society. Sila mismo ang nagtatayo ng pader para sa ating mga babae. Which is very insulting on our part, we can do more than bearing child, we can do more than a wife who's waiting for her husband in their house, we can do more than that. We can be a mother and a ceo at the same time, we can be a woman and a police or military officer at the same time.

What sets MCI apart from other local series is its right casting and amazing material. Eto kasi yung kulang sa mga teleserye dito sa Pinas. Minsan pinagsasama sama yung mga bigating artista tapos sasabayan ng cliche na kwento kaya walang impact because the series itself is pressured of the label "Pinagbibidahan ng mga batikang artista sa industriya".
If you've watched Abot Kamay na Pangarap, one reason it is successful is because of its casting format. The combination of Jilian Ward being a promising star and Che Ramos being an indie actress who's acting is superb helps the audience appreciate the dynamics.
On the other hand, MCI so far sets a high bar because of the very fresh genre dahil hindi tayo masyadong exposed sa historical genres na based sa novel. Samahan mo pa ng mala 'isekai' na twist. Sana mas marami pang novel ang i-adapt to series.
Another good thing is hindi tinambal si Barbie sa isa pang sikat na male actor. That gave us a chance to appreciate David's charisma as well because they are not dubbed as love team in the first place. So may kilig factor talaga. To think that Barbie is in a long term relationship with Jak Roberto already, Klay and Fidel still gives off kilig vibes. Kaya I've never been a fan of love teams cause I feel like it's better to pair artists with other artists na they can build chemistry, without being dubbed as a love team or need to be a real life couple.
Sa looks at personality isama pa Yung husay nila sa acting sigurado sisikat sila Lalo na sa mga kapitbahay nating Asian countries 😍

kinakabahan si barbie pero she is very talented and cute talaga. her confidence and wittiness is really admiring. david naman is chill and his introverted personality is soo nakakakilig. they are not try hards kaya they really compliment each so well. also love how they always include each other in each questions. the host is smart, professional and fun. this is such a great interview! also, MCI is one of the best teleserye in the history. it's iconic. and the fact that it's getting so much recognition says alot about how the Filipino viewers have matured over time. we need more Filipino drama series like this. yung relevant at talagang may sense.
