The WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A-6034-OLP-WC from Larson Electronics is a Portable Power Distribution Unit that converts 480 V AC, 50/60 Hz input voltage and steps it down to 120 V AC output voltage. This weatherproof portable power distribution unit allows operators to plug into 480 V generators and welding outlets via an ACP6034 male pin and sleeve cord cap.
The WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A-6034-OLP-WC portable wheeled spider box from Larson Electronics is built to provide operators with a reliable source of 120 V power. This spider box is designed for portability and convenience as well as durability. Featuring an elevated base platform for protection from standing water and weatherproof construction, the WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A-6034-OLP-WC is ideal for powering 120 V equipment and lighting in construction, entertainment, job-site, marine, and outdoor locations where 480 V generators are providing the power.
This portable spider box features eight 120 V, 20 A GFCI 5-20R duplex receptacles and two 120 V, 30 A, 5-30R receptacles that provide sealed and secure connections for up to 10 devices. The maximum voltage for all 10 receptacles is 1500W. In addition, the receptacles provide 120 V for powering high voltage lighting and equipment without the need for running additional extension cords. Each receptacle features a hinged watertight cover protecting the face from rain, water, and moisture when not in use. The WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A-6034-OLP-WC power distribution unit features short circuit and overload protection. In the instance of circuit overload, the unit automatically shuts down to protect the unit from damage and operators manually restart the system.
The housing on the WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A-6034-OLP-WC is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating. The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this low voltage transformer does not tip over when in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. The assembly is mounted atop four swivel polyurethane casters, two standard swivel and two locking swivel, aiding in transportation within the job site. A top located adjustable push handle allows operators to guide this unit through the workspace.
The WALSB-480V.120V-8X20A-2X30A-6034-OLP-WC portable spider box system converts primary 480 V AC into 120 V AC. Primary voltage is brought in via 20` of 12AAWG cable that is fitted with an industrial grade male ACP6034 pin/sleeve cord cap. Secondary voltage is distributed via the eight 120 V, 20 A GFCI 5-20R duplex receptacles and two 120 V, 30 A, 5-30R receptacles. A top located cord management system allows operators to roll up line-in cord when not in use and roll up the extra slack in the power cable during use.
