Chidozie Nwankwo and, Justin Mayers should have made it. Also I really like Preston Hodge and, Chamon Metayer. Coach Prime and, his staff really did a great job adding some impact pieces. If CU offensive line is significantly improved and, if the defensive line is improved watch out. They have a great QB, great skill position players and, a great secondary. CU has a chance to make some serious noise

Coach Prime did not have a shitty recruiting class by design. The 4 and 5 star guys you recruit today will be your top players in a year or two.

Brandon Davis Swain is Michigans All time sack leader and he had 19 sacks and 91 talks his senior year I don’t know how he wasn’t a 5 star because not one DL had those numbers!!
They got a whole new starting lineup potentially. Only Travis and Shadeur are locks. We have no idea what to expect from this team except that they will be better facing lesser opposition.

Yakiri Walker, Justin Mayers, and Kahlil Benson, will likely start on the OL. The Wester and Wade brothers will see more PT than most of the Freshmen.
Tyler Brown will start over Yakiri & Savion Washington will keep his right tackle spot over Benson
@@diggs3006 Perhaps you're right. I don't care who starts I just want to see vast improvement. I like the depth and competition regardless of who starts. I like Tyler Brown but center is a very important skilled position. Walker has more experience at the position, Brown has more bulk. The team can't afford bad snaps. This center position is the weak link on the line due to Van Wells jumping ship. The team still needs more high quality depth on the interior.
Savion Washington had many issues last season so unless he improves he'll come off the bench. He was the best OT on a line that was the worst in college football. He has excellent size but he wasn't effective. Unless he improves tremendously he'll come off the bench.
@cortezfernandez7475 yeah the oline will be the most improved unit & Savion was only bad after he got injured & came back too soon so his ankle never fully healed. Watch the games before that he wasn't giving up anything
@@diggs3006I just want FEWER than 30 sacks allowed for the season and good running lanes opened for the run game. With the weapons the Buffs have, I'd like to see an average of 350+yds passing and 150 rushing yds . Alton, Wilkerson, Dylan Edwards, Charlie O and Welch can get the job done if the line does their job.
@@cortezfernandez7475if that O-line is stable in the least, then that should be enough to get the run game rolling. The BigXII is a higher-scoring conference. Controlling the game and tempo with running is going to be KEY. Especially gassing Defenses out in the third quarter. Folsom will play a bigger role, especially with many of the legacy BigXII teams. WVU, the AZ, and the UT schools can handle some elevation.
The Defense needs to be more aggressive as a whole unit, and get the opponents offense off of the field as fast as they can.
Alton MCcaskill and Micah Welch, can you say, "RUN GAME!"

They really needed O Line help and it looks like they got it. Including and especially Jordan Seaton who will start day 1.
Preston Hodge will ball and the class of 2023 got some guys who killed it on scout and Dill Edward's looks bigger. J Milner , stoutmire , mccoy , and Waseem , McClain will all play big roles this year

All the additions to the trenches are the most important. More talent and depth. Without them, the skill guys can’t do what they do.

Critical year for Sanders, even though it’s only his 2nd year in P5. His program building recruiting via portal vs HS is sus. Could see him bounce after his sons leave this year.
They MUST GET BIGGER in the OLine in order to protect and save the QB, most importantly, they must Rest the QB, and have a no practice no football day, and not run them like a roller coaster when they return to pratice

Tyler Johnson was an all American selection. Lejohntay Wester was 1st team all conference as a receiver and, a returner. BJ Green was second in the nation in pressures. Samuel Okunlola was the fourth best defensive lineman in the portal. Even though he is not a transfer Alton McCaskill was hurt all year coming over from U of H and, he was all conference. In other words stop with that 🤣
